Ughhh...I used to have a membership to this small ghetto gym but had to cancel since I moved to another part of Indy. I signed a contract that said I had to stay with them for two years unless I showed proof of a change of my address that's a certain number of miles away. I did all that back in August. I had to pay a $50 cancellation fee, and an extra month's worth (I was paying $25 month to month). I had to pay the extra month's worth because of a 30 day notification policy.
Soooo.....I get a bill from them a few days ago saying I owe for the last few months!!! I just got off the phone with the asshole and he said he was unable to find any record of my having cancelled. He asked if I had a receipt and I said no, they gave me a receipt that you could barely read, the ink was soooo faded on it when they gave it to me. I am not going to pay $75 again for THEIR FUCK UP. What do I do? Will they send it to collections? He told me to call AGAIN on Monday to see if he could take care of it for me. That will be my third time calling. Should I ask for a copy of the contract that has my signature on it? This is really pissing me the fuck off. I know it's only $75 bucks that's still money I shouldn't have to pay!!!!!!!! any advice on this please??!
