    Default Morning Dizzyness?

So for the past few days I've been waking up everymorning to a very dizzy feeling if I move around too much laying down, even with my eyes closed, and when standing up. For the first few hours it's so bad if I stand up I feel like I'm going to faint I'm spinning so hard. After about 4-5 hours it goes away on its own. Anyone know what this is? I'm for sure not pregnant or anything like that, and haven't chanced diet, etc.

Are you drinking enough water? You could be dehydrated.

Yep - anemia or iron defficiency without full-blown anemia. Could be something else but that sounds most likely.

You could have an ear infection causing you to lose your balance but I'd check on the anemia too.

I have low blood pressure so I have to be careful when I first stand up in the morning coz I am dizzy and I can't see. It's just a natural thing for me. Maybe have your BP checked.

I was in the same situation almost the whole December. It wasn't just a morning thing, it kept till the dawn. I also thought about the dehydration so I literally crawled to the kitchen and drank couples of glasses of water (I don't drink alcohol - I mean it happens very occasionally). Pick up the dropped stuff from the floor? Way too exhausted for that.

Then I grew tired of that lack of energy and I just resumed my gym workout (I didn't attend it almost for a month - winter excuse ). It was very hard - first 6-7 minutes on the track - I was afraid of falling down. But surprisingly it did good and the I just couldn't stop my cardio. Knock on wood but since then it's imroved a lot.

The very proper explanation could be your low blood pressure (which I have myself). Pomegranate?

ok when you get up your blood pressure drops-(orthostatic hypotension) which makes you dizzy, if you're experiencing it this bad it's problem b/c you're anemic, GET IT CHECK OUT! you'll probably just need iron supplements and a sensible diet plan. also discuss your symptoms with your doctor if you're feeling dizzy all the time it could be Vertigo, which is usually a result of a vestibular disorder (your inner ear) your best bet until you get to the doctor is to get up slowly to reduce the hypotension and dizziness and eat sensibly! but seriously get it checked out

I have somehing called Benign Positional Vertigo. ( http://www.emedicinehealth.com/benig...igo%20Overview )

I'm always dizzy when I get up in the mornings unless I flex my abs for about a minute to get my blood pumping properly. (Good work out too!) If I don't, I can faint.

^^^ I was actually thinking about BPV. BPV can actually be CURED by a phyiscal therapist.

Dehydration would be my guess though. Look up the symptoms of BPV and see if you relate.

I'm gonna vote for low blood sugar. Or dehydration.

But seriously, it could be any number of things! We can't really know for sure so maybe you should go get some blood work done to rule out anything serious. There is obviously a wide range of possibilities.
Don't wear your stripper heels first thing in the morning either. J/k - hope you feel better soon.
