    Default sweet alternative to coffee

i probably drink a whole pot of coffee by myself in one day.. i dont care so much except that i drink it with a huge amount of 1/2 1/2 and a TB in each mug of turbinado sugar (rationalize its the better for you sugar) but still is way too much sugar and cream..

made a warm drink today instead of coffee.. pretty good
    any spice tea
    vanilla soy milk
    sweeten with maple syrup

im sure you could add spices and honey instead..
its warm and good and a bit better for me than the coffee habit

Try unsweetened chai. Add some low fat soy milk and a little honey if you need the sweet. I like to keep a box of concentrate in the fridge so I don't have to brew hot tea if I want a cold drink.

    I like Oregon's Chai Tea.

I've been hooked on the chocolate and mint tea from the barnes and nobel cafe (doesn't taste much like chocolate but it smells amazing and it's sort of a sweetish peppermint flavor) with a little bit of splenda in it.

All I have to say is: PG Tips!!!!!

The Brits will know what I'm talking about.

    Best. Tea. Ever.

Still gives you plenty of caffeine, depending on how long you steep it. I admit I drink it with plenty of sugar and whole milk (half-and-half is too heavy for tea, imo). But it still somehow feels healthier than coffee....

I also love the Twinings Jasmine Green Tea, which I drink straight up; it's good at night, or during long study sessions.

Celestial Seasonings Peppermint is good, too. And Tension Tamer for nighttime/anxiety relief.
