Default the nerve of customers stealing lately!!!!

    omg.

last night two girls almost had their money stolen, in different ways, but different customers.

one has her money strapped to her lag in her garter, and a guy she was dancing for stole $50 from it. she said she had no idea how, but she didnt feel it or anything- i guess he was rubbing her leg and managed to get it out without her knowing? she noticed the second her show was over, and got security to check him- sure enough... the 50 was half pushed in his pocket. dodgy.

so then later in the night another dancer came and said all her money was almost stolen by a couple.

while she was dancing for the girl, the guy reached into her bag, grabbed her cash and closed the bag again... luckly the dancer turned around and caught him. scammers. we reckon they were both in on it, and that was the plan for the night. i wonder if they tried hitting other clubs in the area??

customers are getting cockier with stealing....

Oh, fuck that. I have had my purse stolen from work twice in Las Vegas!! What the fuck? One time, I had it between my feet, while I was dancing, the other time, I had it behind this customer's back.... In both cases, I don't think that my custies were responsible. Well, actually, I know they wern't because I had security check them both (Sorry innocent customers, even though I allready apologized profusely to you)! I do carry a purse still, but I do NOT keep my money in it. I put a garter around my ankle (looks cuter and is safer than putting it on your thigh) or if I'm wearing boots or knee socks I stuff it in there......

Oh my god! I actually had my money stolen at Spearmint once and it WAS by a customer. It was my stupid fault, but I was 21 at the time so excuse my dumbness. A guy bought a VIP from me, gave me 500 for the 400 dollar dance, and I sort of trusted him. Well, after the hour was up and I go to the dressing room, find out the money was gone. Yes, I stupidly left him with my purse while I went to the bathroom. The fucked up thing was his friends had given him the cash, I saw them do it. I always wondered if he gave it back to them or pocketed the money. I hope you had fun screwing me over you theiving little fuck, wherever you are!! (lol)

There are people that feel no pain in stealing from us. They don't even think we work for a money, and they make a living off us. It's disgusting.

Holy shit. WTF is going on with people these days. Geez.

It happened to a friend of mine, she was dancing for a guy, came out, danced for another guy, went on stage, got off, realized her money was missing. Few hundred dollars. To this day she doesn't know what happened. She's convinced it was one of the dancers at the club judging that no one made money that night and everyone was complaining and the girl left, literally, 5 minutes after the money went missing.
Girl comes in the next day, my friend asks to talk to her after she's done her stage, while she's dancing the girl is talking to me about how she hopes Selena's okay, she seems mad, raw raw raw.. It's not hard to put 2 and 2 together.

Wow though. The Bonnie and Clyde of the strip clubs.

Their lucky it wasn't my purse they were going through, I would have thrown bottles, then took all their money and let them go home, but not without getting a lesson on proper night club behaviour from the bouncer. (And maybe a few hits.. hehe)

I don't know how anyone could take money from a garter if it's STRAPPED ON. She must've had it stuck in there loose or something. In 11.5 years I've never lost a single dollar from my garter AND YES I WOULD KNOW! I am as anal retentive as they come about my cash - I put that shit in order from smallest to highest, faced and counted throughout the night. I also pay more attention when guys put their hands on me, ESPECIALLY if it's in the vicinity of my cash!

And again, never leave your money in a purse - it's too easy for someone to pick it up!

But yeah, custies have definitely gotten more bold in recent years. I'm thinking the rash of moronic girls bragging to the general public and media about all the cash they make helps spur this stuff on

I will give the club I'm in one thing. It is near impossible for someone to steal money from us as we don't carry money upon us. We have little "pigeon holes" near the main lap dance area. After we have gone to the reception and gotten our "commission" (it's a percentage club where they take a certain amount of out of every dance) in a sealed envelope (which we check and seal)... we put that sealed envelope into our specific pigeon hole.

The envelope also has our name, the time we started the dance and the duration of the dance on it.

Only the head hostess that night can open the pigeon hole and only when we are to collect our pay.

Whilst it can seem a little time consuming this way of working at least none of my money that I have ever earnt at this club has gone missing.

As for the garter, I also (if I can't wear my wrist wallet) put it around my ankles. I don't do purses.

GoldCoastGirl, wow girl, never heard of that before! Does seem just a bit time consuming but it's all worth it in the end I guess.

Sorry to get off topic, how much money do you pay out a dance?

mermaidnz, did the couple, or the guy at least, get roughed up? Hehhhe.

GCG, I know you've posted it before, but could you possibly please restate where you got that wrist wallet again? I think I'm liking the sound of that idea more and more.

SO FAR *knock wood* I have NOT had any money stolen from me, but I have now had THREE tops swiped by customers. The first time I was utterly heartbroken and made a thread about it. ( http://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sho...aling+trophies )

Then, just last weekend, it happened AGAIN, in a new club, with much better security (supposedly), right in the lap dance area. I had the distinct pleasure of watching it over and over and over again (and the equally odd experience of seeing myself give a dance - wow, that was something else) on the security cameras. But the guy was long gone. That time, I was much less heartbroken, but even more pissed.

HUGS to all of you who have gotten ripped off! And thieves? Congratulations, assholes. You stole from a stripper. I hope you're really proud of yourselves.

    here's a twist:

my area's local papers have had stories about customers paying exotic dancers for dances with counterfeit bills.

how awesome is that? it's made me want to suggest a token machine in which customers insert their money in the machine which verifies if it's a real bill, and then the machine deposits a token to pay for a dance with.

I've heard of that happening in one of the cities I worked. Assholes, sitting around, making counterfeit money, to go see some pussy? Pathetic.

Two weeks ago we got a guy in who paid with a 20 folded in half. He left, she checked the 20 and it was blank on the back!!!!!

    amazing.

I also strap my money to my ankle in a garter, my good friend turned me onto to that recently and I don't know how I went so long without working like that!

I wear fishnets to work, and stuff the $$$ well inside them (inner thigh-calf area). Not the most glamorous sight, but at least they'd have to ATTACK to get to the $$. haha

I had this one customer who I got back in VIP ask me if I'd take my garter off and put it on the coffee table. I flat out said no, I don't know why he wanted me to do that. He said "Don't you trust me?" I really wanted to scream out no, but I just said, "of course I trust you, I don't trust everyone else in here". I knew if I told him that I didn't trust him I wouldn't get my money for the VIP.

Another time this stupid young guy who was in for a bachelor party on 2 different occasions this customer grabbed at my garter where my cash was strapped on. I told him to never touch my money, then he did it again, and I said to him "if you touch my money again I'll have the cops called on you for attempted theft and have the bouncers kick the shit out of you before the cops are called & hauled off to jail.

There's girls at my club that walk around all night with money just stuck in their garter like how it's stuck in there while on stage. That is something I can't understand because while you're walking by someone can just pull it out so fast that you wouldn't even know who does it. Me OTOH is so anal about my money, I put all the amounts together all the 1's, 5's, 10s, etc. and immediately rubberband them together. I did lose $5 one time while I was dancing for a customer because he put money in my garter by tipping me while I was dancing and a fellow dancer while walking past me stole it! She did it so fast that I couldn't do anything about it plus I was naked. It's bad enough that customers do it but another dancer!!! Sorry, I'm getting off topic here.

it happened to me. with the money strapped to my garter and secured. i'm now convinced it was a gypsy type. he kept distracting me by trying to touch my butt crack so i was wiggeling all around. he paid me ,i walked two feet away and noticed all my money was gone from my garter... so was he. i'm talking like 30 seconds. i ran to the front to see if i could see him. i later found out that one of my custys saw two guys in the bathroom in the same stall speaking a foreign language. (dont flame me for saying gypsy thats what i think). i guess they waited in the bathroom for it to die down then left. i never in a millillon years thought someone could take it off me. two good things, one i didnt have that much yet slow start, lots of ones. second the girls all took up a small collection for me everyone felt so bad.

well..it was my birthday and they had me on stage while all the girls tipped me..plus the staff, bouncers, waittresses... etc.. i also got a lot of extra tips on stage from guys.. so i had well over 100 singles in my garter that was rubberbanded up... i didnt get a chance to cash in my singles yet and had to go on stage for my set.. well.. into the dance my rubberband broke and a shower of singles fell all over the stage and all the guys on stage went nuts... (think of a scene in a movie where someone throws money on the ground and a bunch of beggers scurry to get it..) the bouncers saw and roughed up all the guys but anyway.. it sucked

What I do is I usually have at least 2 rubberbands around my money so in case one breaks and so it's on tighter. I also keep some rubberbands on my wrist in case I need another one. I'm so paranoid about my money that I keep it on my garter on the front part of my leg. I see girls walking around the club with the wad of money on the back side of their thigh whereas I like to keep it on the front part so I can see and feel it at all times.

I do have to say that luckily most of the customers are pretty respectful about our money like if there's money on the stage, most of them won't try to steal it. I've seen a couple of young punks take a dollar off the stage and try to tip another girl or retip a girl and of course I've said something to them.

When I get my funnymoney it immediately gets rubberbanded to my garter, I can't tell you how many girls in my club have gotten the funnymoney when in VIP and set it down on one of the tables and then complained at everyone later when it turned up missing!!!! It's like, duh!!!!

welll... i had this customer one night... i just thought i was a primo hustler... but come to find out i was WRONG. He told me to stay with him all night, and i only did about 6 $20 dances for him. He asked me how much I wanted, and I told him 1k, joking around. He signed 2k off for me on his credit card. I was happy.

Until a week later, the club's owner told me not to deal with him anymore, he partied at someone else's expense... he stole thier credit card.

Don't use rubberbands to strap your money on the garter. Use a HAIRTIE. Those little things that come in a package 10 or 12 for $2 at walgreen's or CVS. Those things WILL NOT break. You only need one of them to strap the money on and they last forever. I occasionally lose one but I keep the spares in my workbag. So if I lose one I just run right back and get another out of my bag. I have only had to buy 2 packs of them EVER.

The closest I could find on the internet:
    http://www.amazon.com/Cartom-Product...767468-1895306

I specifically purchased mine from upstairs at Off Ya Tree in Surfers Paradise in Cavill Mall. If enough people are interested, I can easily go "up the road" to inquire as to who is the producer of the wrist wallet (as they are much more fashionable to wear than the amazon.com link ones).

As for the envelope system, yeh it is paperwork and a little time consuming however in the end it does ensure I get my money and it is perfectly safe. Then again I do keep track of how many dances I have done mentally so if any do go missing I will stand there and demand to see the tally sheet for the night to show I did those dances that are missing. I also make sure to not leave without checking the pigeon hole as I do have trust issues with any club even this system of working. Humans are still involved and that always leads to a margin of error.

this only works if you wear boots but when i get off stage i organized my money and stick it in, no only my boot, but in my socks as well, zip up my boot and keep on truckin'.. this has worked for over a year now and i'm too paranoid to carry a purse or rubberband it around my garter.. i've had them hold up to $700 at one time
