    Default Serotonin Booster

    Hi!

I'm doing a sort of "prozac" playlist for iPod: songs to uplift mood, some are pretty silly like old disco or rock and I'm shame to listen them, but are able to fight depression and sad feelings ...

Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes (Radio Edit)
    Underworld - Born Slippy
    Rod Stewart - Young Turks
Jamiroquai - Canned Heat (Radio Edit)
    Cerrone - Supernature
Ricky Martin - The Cup Of Life (La Copa De La Vida)
Sylvester - You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)
Faithless - Mass Destruction (Single Version)
    Go-Go's - Head over heels

... well, please suggest me your secret "booster" ...

As silly as some might find it, I'm So Excited by The Pointer Sisters.

Also, and they arent really going for the serotonin boost thing.... I'm Horny by Mousee T vs Hot N Juicy.... and Joints N Jams by BEP.

You can always go with the classic "I'm Walkin' on Sunshine" by Katrina and the Waves.. or just about anything by the Bangles..

I particularly find "Relax" by Frankie Goes to Hollywood pretty peppy.

wow! "Relax" always make me smile!
I'm a movies addict: I remember it was in 'Body Double' an old movie directed by Brian De Palma, in a sort of parodia of a porno set, very very odd ! And in 'Zoolander' by Ben Stiller, it was used in the parodia of a gang bang: pretty silly.

I downloaded 'Katrina : I'm Walking on Sunshine', but it does not work for me. Bangles ? May U suggest me the best song to try?

I loved that movie Body Double.. Melanie Griffith before she got implants! One of the more vicious murder sequences too with the power drill... good ol' De Palma. Yeah, the band members were actually in the porn sequence where they used that song.. Holly does Hollywood or something like that. The lead singer had these creepy white gloves on. Still love the song though.. I'll stop whatever I'm doing and sing along with it when I hear it.

Glad to hear Walking on Sunshine didn't work for you. I hate that song.. would have lost all respect for you.

Bangles.. maybe try Manic Monday or Walk Like an Egyptian..

Pump It by the Black Eyed Peas always seems to brighten me up.. As does a song by Jimmy Cliff..uhh.. Ooh Lah Lah Let's Go Dancing. That new Fergie song Glamorous is kinda fun.. Oh, I remember an old guilty pleasure.. Eddie Money, Two Tickets to Paradise.. yikes..

Pizzicato 5 - Twiggy Twiggy/Twiggy Vs. James Bond

Really catchy Japanese Bossa Nova/60s British pop style music. Besides, Beavis & Butthead had fun mocking it. =)
