I like music and now I am listening K-391 & Alan Walker - Ignite (feat. Julie Bergan & Seungri)
Cool and so energy song

Written on the walls at the house of sorrow
You can find the names of those who burned
Greater yet, the pain in little drawings
I could not remain in that room

for those that appreciate house / electronica / progressive genres;

So I had to come in to work at 4, but there was only about 30 minutes worth of stuff I needed to do (unloading a delivery of hay bales), so now I have a bunch of time to myself, and the whole of YouTube at my fingertips. And this isn’t good, because of course I end up seeing the seedy underbelly of it, including this disasterpiece:
It’s a paradox. On the one hand, I want to run, but some inexplicable force compels me to keep watching their videos.
And guess what? They’re on Spotify! I am going to troll others with this. In fact, I think I found my song for the next exhibition my pole dance studio does.

This… is… it.

I am but a product of circumstances which aren't necessarily the norm. But I don't have my own Vevo on YouTube, and I'm quite certain I can sing and keep a tune better than the folks in the previously mentioned videos. Though it turned out to be great trolling material... pretty sure people at work were ready to tar and feather me yesterday.

Oh, it is much worse than that. The guy pretending to play the sax.… pretty sure he’s the vocalist in the second video, and I’m thinking that’s their dad. This is really kinda creepy. I’d pass it off as a joke, except for the VEVO channel and albums on Spotify. I’m wondering if they’re in some bizarre cultlike church.
Which, it would’nt be the first time a church/whatever religious sect tried to be cool and failed at it, such as this band composed of Swiss members of the Salvation Army (a concept completely anathema to the church I was brought up in, as the Anabaptist faiths use a strong disposition against militarism as a pillar of the faith, whereas the Salvation Army directly correlates religion and militarism… because, you know, what could go wrong there?), but they at least have talent:
To get around Eurovision rules which prohibited them from using the name of their organization (Heilsarmee) as their band name, they changed their name to Takasa as an acronym for “The Artists Known As Salvation Army”. While I don’t know what sort of cult the people from Three Beat Slide are in that other members coerced their kids into being in these videos, the Salvation Army is actually a very scary organization - most people just think of the people dressed as Santa and ringing bells incessantly, but this is an organization advocating militance in the name of faith, and it’s adherents identify themselves as soldiers. The line between them and some other organizations of that nature which probably spring to mind much quicker really doesn’t seem to be all that distant to me, and all it really takes is a few leaders with radical ideals to get these people into some shit. But, radicalism and religion… that never happens, right?
