SO I went to check out Eden the other night.
I can't remember what StripTease looked like, but my boyfriend said it didnt look like it had changed much. One big change was that there is now a whole new VIP area.
The dances are $20 on the floor in a chair
$30 if you get a dance on the couch
3 for $100
200 for a half hour
400 for an hour
The bouncer said they would eventually do away with a half hour VIP, and only offer 3for 100 or an hour VIP
There is no drink min. for the 3 for 100, and there is only a 2 drink min. in the other VIP rooms. The bouncer said if your customer is sitting in the new VIP area they just added, drinks are waived, because they are already more expensive in that area. They are $13 a drink in the VIP area.
One complaint I have is their sound system. It is terrible. It sounds very tinny with no bass. The bouncer said they are going to add in a whole new sound system soon.
For dancers, right now they are not only waiving hosuefees, but they are also waiving the 10% chargeon funny money right now, which I thought was really nice.
All the staff I spoke with was very nice to me, and answered all my questions, and showed me around.
One thing I was very suprised and impressed with was the fact that all the bouncers/hosts I spoke with all left very good jobs to work for Eden. I ran into a former host from Sapphrie who always worked the skybox, who chose to go work at Eden. Another host I talked to said he worked as a host at Rum Jungle right under their owner, and he left for Eden as well. When I asked them why they would leave such good jobs for this strip club they all said they felt it was the best opportuityin the city, and they all had faith that the Eden was going to be the best in the city. They al spoke very highly of Vinnie, and some said they had worked for him years before, and were happy to come back and work for him again. I liked the loyality, and the belief they all had in the club.
There were not many dancers, and thse club onyl had 1 table of guys when I was there, but it was 11pm on a tuesday night, so understandably slow. The dancers I saw, some were hot, some weren't. We got 2 dances, 1 totally sucked, but the girl was very pretty, and the other girl was really cute, and gave a good dance on the couch.
The host told me that there was an 8 hour min. shift. That is probably one thing i dont like. I cant stand an 8 hour shift. My mind gets burned out way before 8 hours are up. I told the host I would stop back on a friday night and check it out, see hwo business is doing, maybe work a shift and see how it goes. They really seem to stress loyality there, and said that the girls who stick it out there during the slow times are the girls who will get all the perkes, with leaving early, or getting hooked up with good customers. I liek that they are good to their loyal girls, but on the other hand, I just cant be loyal to a club during its slow times. My finances can't take the hit. Thats why Im not at the Mens Club, which i believe will be a great club, but iI cant work there until it gets busy. I need money every night I work.
So in all....it might be a good club. Business is picking up, they are still making a lot of changes, and the staff and owners seem to have a lot of faith in this club. Im willing to give it a try one night and see how it goes. The host did say on weekends they still have business until after 6am, so it isnt dying out to early, and that looks good.
