Well, I've posted a lot about my soda addiction (I'm the girl who did 6-10 cans a day)...and I decided to stop talking about it, and finally do something about it. So, on Tuesday (I ran out of my Coke supply Monday night) I began my soda free life. I have Many reasons for deciding to call it quits...despite a healthy diet (beside sthe soda), cardio 5 or 6 days a week, weight training 4 days...I still am pudgey and soft looking...at 5'4ish, no matter what, my weight stayed in the same range (between 138-145).
Monday I weighed 138.8.
Tueday wasn't so bad. I had no problems just drinking water and iced tea. I added more of the mix to my water than was suggested on the box, but I figured I'd need the sugar, and it was about 70 calories a serving...not fantastic, but better than the usual 150 a can. I ate my usual...yogurt and granola for breakfast, baked potato with broccoli and green beans for lunch, soup for dinner, grapefruit/strawberries dipped in dark chocolate for snacks.
Tuesday's weight....137.8
Wednesday: Started out again no problem. Halfway through the day though, I had a horrible headache and shakes. I kept chugging my water/iced teas, but no avail. An dthen the carbonation cravings kicked in. After dinner, I allowed myself a diet Barq's (I'm trying to stay away from diet soda for th emost part...it's only a rare "treat") a few gulp's and a felt a lot better, so down the drain the rest went! Getting myself to workout at all, let alone at my usual intensity is difficult, I feel like there's no energy at all
Wednesday's weight...137.
Thursday...still a lot to go, but chugged my water upon waking up instead of my usual 2 cans of Coke. Keep your fingers crossed the rest of the day!
Thursday's weight....136.4
I haven't been to the gym at alllll since Sunday, so i feel gross...but I'm going to force myself to go today...keep you updated!
