i think pole tricks will usually make you a lot of money. if you can't do pole tricks, then lots of ass shaking works too. i think floorwork (crawling and such) is sexy too.
hits from the boooong

eye contact, and when you get up there, know that you are the sexiest, hottest thing ever. It works for me. Just be really flirty.
I really cannot not express eye contact enough though.
Oh..... and make sure you're really into yourself. I think guys can tell onstage.
I love to joke around. have fun. make 'em laugh, and they'll pay for the rivlegde. everything is a joke. pretend you're stoned (not really, just like everything amuses tyou and is fun).
I believe it's jim carry who'd the best paidactor, and he is hsterical! The serious actors (leo Dicaprio, for example) are amazing, but they don't rake in quite as much cash!
confidence and eye contact- one of my good friends that works at the same club as me does this thing where she lays on her back, sticks her ass up in the air with her feet by her head- she folds a dollar perfectly in half and sets it between her ass cheeks so the pointed part of the dollar is up and she blows at it with her mouth so it almost looks like she farts- it's really fun to watch and customers crack up. Sometimes she'll play it off and say "oh wow excuse me". Just have fun and be confident in what you're doing.

Do what you do- but baby do it well.
Every man is a volume if you know how to read him.

I notice customers throw tips up when I look them in the eyes very seductively then when I know I have there undivided attention I give them a big bright smile, even a bashful giggle. I move slow, seductive, I think of the last time I had great sex and imagine that person is in the audience watching my every move. I can't do a pole trick to save my life, but I do well for myself. I also have a great pair of H sized fake breasts, so the big reveal makes up for the lack of acrobatics.

I've noticed that just smiling has earned me the biggest tips on stage by far. It is so simple, but most girls at the clubs I've worked at never do it and guys really like it. Also, when my stages are kinda empty, I stick my tongue out at guys sitting close to the stage in a very playful way, which usually gets them up there to tip.
NEVER what ever you do look tired angry or bored the customers can tell! Smile look like your having the time of your life every time... puts them in a good mood and then they think your the person to be with!
Yay for more Utah peopleDepends on where you work, honestly. Pole tricks seem to impress the ladies, sexy slow moves impress the guys.
I believe you Dottie and you have my support
The Crawl hasn't failed me yet. Make eye contact and accentuate every move you make.

i like watching when girls do very slowww floorwork, while making good eyecontact. they don't necessarily have to have a big smile plastered on their faces for the whole time, but a pleasant look and smile here and there is always good. do some sexy poses then ease your way into another pose, but do it in a way that doesn't look like you're doing a photoshoot.

A lot of top earners at my club don't dance so much on stage as they do banter and strike sexy poses while flirting with the customers.
I'm kind of an introvert so I stick with variations of flipping over and shaking my cooter and making silly "sex noises" with a grin on my face. Guys really like that one. It's plough pose in yoga, but I put my legs on the guy's shoulders cause we're on a raised stage. When I cant do that (touch, or reach) I just hoist myself up into a "cheesecake" pose, one leg bent, one leg pointed and put my hand over my cooch. Smile.
I think the best looking stage dancers move really slow, like everything takes a count of eight.
i like to wear a lot of clothes so there is more to take off. belts are fun so you can pretend to whip the audience. i sometimes wear a hat with my hair tucked in that i toss off while i'm over the floor fan so it blows my hair up.

^^^ gotta love that floor fan!^^^

what works best for me is slow and sexy floorwork combined with "impressive" (read: mostly upside-down) and SLOW pole work. the floorwork is what gets the guys' attention... be in constant flow, point your toes in all moves...
I have slooooooowed my polework down and it has seemed to work for my club, where our top earners don't even do much pole work. Every move is almost a stall so I can make eye contact while on the pole, grasp it in certain "insinuating" ways, etc... seems to work better than quick/energetic moves.

Ye famed male POV...
The comments about eye contact and smiling are right on.
Eye contact shows you've noticed us. It's a male ego thing - "the dancer is making eye contact because she likes me looking at her."
Ditto smiling: "the dancer is smiling because she's enjoying being naked in front of me".
Every guy coming into a strip venue likes to think the dancers like us and are even attracted to us. Making eye contact and smiling gives that impression whatever your private thoughts are.
Moves probably count less than personality in that respect, and showing/giving the illusion that you've noticed us and are enjoying what you're doing are two sure fire ways of holding the male attention.
Phil.
two things often overlooked but very important are good use of the stage and a smooth flow to your performance.
Unless your stage is insanely small it's good to cover all areas. Part of good presence is "owning" the stage. Don't just hold onto the pole the whole time.. put your hands against a wall and wind your hips or shake your booty.. move from one side to the other and to the front
A smooth transition between each move is also very important. I've seen girls shake their ass furiously on one side of the stage then scamper to the the other side and do it again.. and some girls who do a really sexy crawl and then just "get up" and walk over to the pole
ok this is going to sound really retarded but when i first started dancing one of the older dancers was giving me tips before work and she told me to always always ALWAYS keep your toes pointed.
YES nothing is worse that a girl with tall heels and her calves flexed... makes us look like retarded horses...Re: Does anyone have any stage dancing tips?

EYE CONTACT. i do alot of pole work (and before i climb i'll look for someone thats watching me) they'll tip thinking i'm just dancing for them and no one else LOL![]()
You know what, thank you! This is the best advice ever. I did this on Easter Sunday, when my club had only one floor open and there were hardly any customers. I imagined that I was making love to the music, and made seductive eye contact or winked at the guys in the audience. It was like they were mezmerised, and compelled to the stage. While all the other girls were complaining about how slow it was, I banked!
Everyone is saying make eye contact and thats one area I need help in. How do you learn pole dancng is it ard to do? Help if you can!!!!![]()
