Best cardio for your ass?
treadmill on an incline, stairclimber or swimming? Or a combo of all?

I would say treadmill on a incline would be the easiest and stairclimber the most efficient. However, the elliptical machine works wonders on my glutes. I think swimming is more of an upper body work out but I enjoy it more than anything else.
treadmill on an incline is doing my body good.
Stairclimber! My ass is getting AWESOME in a short time.
I'm using the eliptical machine, but plan on graduating to the stair climber...it hurts my knees after a while though....but I looove what it does for my butt!
Climbing stairs is GREAT for glutes. If you can do the real thing , go for it. If not, use the "Gauntlet " machine. Skating is great for glutes- ice, roller or in line.

How about alternating walking on a treadmill on an incline and the stairmaster? I think you'd definitely see results that way.![]()

Try doing some walking lunges while holding 10lbs dumbells. Kills the glutes, hams and quads! If 10lbs gets too easy, up the weight!
step aerobics & kickboxing are also good
Thanks everyone!
I do the walking lunges as well, but I figured since I gotta do cardio anyway, might as well do one that focuses on my porblem areas!
I really love walkign on an incline the best, I dunno, for some reason, its fun for me to alternate the incline, go from 5% -10%, all the way up to 45% incline for a few minutes, maybe do 20 minutes of that, and then 10 of the stiarstepper.
I hate the eliptical. It makes my feet go numb for some reason?
I start off at 0% incline going 3.0 mph for 3 minutes, then up to 3% incline at 3.2 mph for 3 minutes, then 6% incline at 3.4 mph for 4 minutes. Once I hit 10 minutes then I go up to 8 % for 3 more minutes, then 10% incline at 13 minutes not changing the speed nor holding on. Once I hit 15 minutes then I go all the way up to 15% incline but back it back down to 3.2 mph for 5 minutes then just work my way back down. That might sound a little confusing but it works well for me and has help me build up my strength.

My ass (and heart) gets a beating when I run inclines on the treadmill for 20 minutes. I start at 2% incline at 6mph. Gradually increase every minute and hike it up to about 10% at 7mph alternating cooldowns for one minute. Be careful not to have a heart attack though. And be prepared for people to stare.
