    Allergic to Latex???

OKay, so I need to know if any of you out there have any info on how to get around wearing latex on your nipples.

I'm allergic (VERY) and have very sensetive skin...so my options are a bit limited...

and I don't want to just go without and risk getting bitched at by managers all the time, or fired, etc. I'd rather play it safe I think.

    Thanks in advance girls!

p.s. I might have put this thread in the wrong spot, sorry..... I wasn't sure.

You could just wear pasties, moleskin(the kind actors use in nudie scenes), cut up cute fabric, opaque glitter glue(the little kid craft kind that peels off easy)...lotsa stuff

Pasties aren't legal I believe if i'm not mistaken that you have to have 3 inches covered up around your nipple, atleast in Texas that's how it is. You can use fabric paint (it's in the craft section at walmart for under a dollar) find a flesh tone or a light pink, put it on just like you would latex. Then on top of the paint put the latex without letting it touch your skin. I'm only telling you to use the latex if it is illegal not to wear in it your state or city. Check the laws or ask your (good) manager lol, if it is legal.

    EE-
    i am too.
the best idea i had was fabric paint. it worked. peeled off at the end of the night without hurting my nipple. and the sticky pastie things MIGHT have latex in them. i went thru this about a year and a half ago.

you DONT need latex on top. the fabric paint wont be a sealant enough to not cause an allergic reaction. in philly, the pasty laws are to cover the nipple, not cover the nipple with latex. most clubs use latex, however, because it is easily removable and doesn't hurt nips. the same can be argued for just fabric paint alone.

    Love it!

K, so fabric paint huh? Yah, tape and band aids both irritate my skin, and if I used them every night I worked....no that would not be so great!

I have thought of those sticky pasty things, but I am not sure the adhesive in them would work...plus there's the whole legal thing...I'm not sure about that.

So fabric paint it is then, I'll give it a shot!
The last time I used latex, before I figured out it was the latex I was allergic to, I wound up bleeding from my nipple, had to have icky tests doen and yep...it was the latex.

    Thanx for the info girls!

I am horribly allergic too! My club offers a sensitive skin formula that works kind of well, just flakes easily- if you can get by with it there is a fabric glue that comes in a blue wand (at walmart) that doesn't flake whatsoever!!!! and dries clear. For some reason it doesn't bother me or some of the other girls. Management isn't happy about it because it doesn't peel off easily if we get someone coming into check but it is worth a shot. I think it is like two dollars for a huge tube. Let me know if you can't get the sensitive formula and I can run it up to you.

I'd be willing to try it! ^^ I have this liquid eye stuff, an eyeliner, but it dries clear with an irridescant look to it, and some sparkle. The crap doesn't rub off for anything, and it takes a good amount of eye cleaner to get it off. I'm going to try that tonight, see what happens. I think for a while it's going to be trial and error until I find what works for me.

Daytona, I'll take a peek and try to find that, if not I'll let you know!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!! You girls who suggested the fabric paint! It's working like a charm! I bought it earlier today and have been wearing around to see how it holds up and if I have any reaction to it....It's great!

I can't even tell you hwo stressed I was about this stupid latex thing....I really didn't want to have to hassle with it, and re-aaplying shadow and such all night was NOT sounding good!

    So...Muah! Thanks!

yayyy! yes, fabric paint = the shit. some of the non allergic girls were asking to borrow some when the latex thing at ch2 was enforced. they said they liked how it looked and peeled off much better. so glad it worked!
