    I'm confused about clothes . . .

Being very broke and getting a bit desperate, I've been trying to get a few outfits to dance in. I've got the shoes taken care of (I got pink ones and now I'm wishing I had gotten black or just plain clear). I've gone to snaz75, Wicked Temptations, Pin Up Girl, all those sites and stuff. I know some of them cater specifically to dancers but I get confused as to what's appropriate to wear on stage and in the club in general. They have clothing sections which I get but can you actually wear lingerie as dancing gear? Cuz they offer lingerie too . . . Does it look bad or cheap or unprofessional? Is it all just a matter of what material it's made out of? I'm really confused . . .

The clubs here in Seattle are nude so I don't think the thongs need to be legal (tho I'm not sure, I'll find out.), lapdances aren't technically legal but nobody listens to the 4 foot rule and I'm pretty sure you can't get nude for those. If anybody can help me out, I'd really appreciate it.

hi deary i have the same problem, i do end up buying a bucketloads of outfits though but they end up not flattering me.
here the lingerie look is very in, glamourous lace bra and suspenders with stockings. Have you had a look at what the other girls are wearing?
I would suggest getting down to a dancer clothing shop and spending 2 annoying hours (annoying to the shop assistant that is) trying on every shape style and colour in the shop, that will give you a better idea of what suits you, what goes with what, and if you are a cheapskate like me you can then go on the internet and find it for cheaper

Ok, I danced in Seattle this past fall. Most girls do dance for customers in their thong, so you want it to be thick and not to move around. That is why the ones from those sites are good. Just get one outfit for now. Girls always have stuff that they are selling. Just make an anouncement in the dressing room. Regular lingerie in not durable enough. But if you have something that looks really great on you, wear it. Just know it won't last. But, by the time it rips you have made some money and you can buy some dancer clothes. I know at Ricks costume ladys come in and sell their wears. I worked at the Vu downtown and they did notallow that. But like I said girls were always selling really nice outfits for cheap.
    Actually...
I will be in Shoreline this weekend. I will sell you a cute outfit for 10-15 bucks. PM me if you are interested.
