Default How about a positive education poll:)

Ok so after that last condescending poll I thought a different question about education might be nice. I made 9 very general categories and I'm wicked interested to know what you have majored in, are currently majoring in, plan to pursue or what major you just find appealing. It always surprises me to learn what people are all about..like who's a math person, who's an science person, etc.

Wow chemistry is one damn hard degree. Forensics is a very interesting area, I took an elective unit "forensic evidence" and we got to go on a tour of our police forensic lab's which included the ballistics lab, trace evidence, dna lab, botany department and the drug - chemistry lab. It was funny coz they had drug exhibits and they were passing them around so a whole group of law students were passing around big blocks of cocaine and other drugs

You girls are smart cookies! Of course, the high school dropouts are less likely to reply to this thread and are probably not on stripperweb anyway, so it's not a representative sample. I'm still impressed by the postings in the various education polls though

    Where's law by the way?

Does one even get a diploma for an associate's? What is that exactly? Would my minor undergrad degrees be considered associate in arts?

I graduated Valedictorian from a medical college in Tennessee. I retired from dancing soon after graduation and now own a medical transcription company. And no student loans. THANK YOU, BOOBIES!!!

Dude! Way to indulge in some stereotypes. You might as well put "You're pretty smart for a stripper" in your signature line.

As well, can we put this notion that if you don't have a college degree, that you are probably at a truck stop huffing gas to bed? Some of the more intelligent women I ever met was a high school drop out (and a stripper!) and several of the most boring and dumbest are college graduates.

For the poll - I did my undergrad in English Lit, so I guess that's arts?

I checked Fine Arts, Communications, and Science. I got my BA in Communications with a concentration in Film & Video, and a minor in Photography. Almost all my electives were science classes, especially astronomy and geology. I really wanted a double major in geology but I didn't have time. My Master's is in film production with concentrations in directing actors and editing.

I picked business, fine arts, and science. My first major was theatre, second was criminal justice, then psych/english, now finance. I think I'll actually stick with finance. I'm working on my associates now, and then I'll go for my bachelors in the same field.

Jenny, I'd say you're pretty damn smart and articulate and educated - period. Coincidentally also a lot smarter and more articulate and better educated than the average stripper.

Same applies to a lot of other people

There are diplomas for almost any achievement anymore. But yes, Associates get diplomas.

I didn't mark the poll because I'm a patron of the arts, not a dancer. But...
