Default Aveeno Positively Smooth Shave Gel

I absolutely LOVE this stuff! I had been spending about $24 a bottle for Coochie Shaving lotion and I still got red bumps. BUT I've been using aveeno every day for a week and NO irritation And it's a much smoother shave, and cheaper. But as with most aveeno products, it doesn't have a very feminine smell, and it's an ugly yellow color lol. Another thing I noticed, is it leaves the skin a little dry afterwards, but it's still a good tradeoff not having any redness or ingrowns. I've been shaving against the growth too, so it's definitely a must have. Has anyone else used it?

I switched to this brand hoping it would help a lot (I love all the aveeno products) but it hasn't made that much of a difference. Oh well.

I live for the lotion, I should try the gel too!

i just started using coochie cream & it is working pretty well for me compared to regular shaving cream. I will give the aveeno a try, I just started using their skin relief body wash & lotion two weeks ago & I'm impressed. I'm not half as ashy as I normally would be w-out using lotion, if I don't feel like it.

coochie is better than regular cream but it is so expensive. I tried tend skin too, but that's just too many steps for me lol.

I like the way the Aveeno smells - like almonds. But eventually I switched to almond oil, which allows me to shave against the grain without any cuts or bumps. Then I put on "stop bump" stuff. Right now I have the Nads spray cause it was on sale.
