    Default Any handymen/women out there?

If I open my dryer door while it is still running, it keeps spinning and spinning for about 10 seconds (and it's getting longer each time) instead of cutting off immediately like it should. I just spent $200 getting the heater coil replaced a few months ago, so I really don't want to have to call him out again. Anyone know what it could be? Other than time to kick it out the door of course

Look for a button that is depressed by the door. It may either be external like a fridge or internal. the internal type has a spike that is on your door that fits into a hole. that hole maybe clogged with lint. Post photo and I can advise you better.

I found the button. It doesn't seem to be sticking when I press on it but I'll clean it really well and see if that helps. Thanks so much!

And if its not sticking most likely the switch is going bad and needs replaced , its a 3-5 $ part but can be a real bitch to change because of what you must take apart to get to it . Hope the cleaning works .
