    Default Sheer fabric?

Hey this is a very weird thread, but just a shot in the dark kind of question: I'm trying to find a cool way to separate a lapdance area from the rest of the club in a way that maintains some visibility (for security), I'm thinking some sheer hanging fabric or some tall screen type things. I really like the idea of being able to see shadows through them, like in a shadow dancing sort of way.

I'm going to search some fabric stores and look online, but you girls are always surprisingly resourceful, so I thought I'd post here.

And should this go in the lounge?

    Thanks.

since I am really bored............... I would go to a cheapo store, we have big lots,
valuecity or maybe even home goods or bed bath and beyond, and look for sheer
fabric panels in the drapery department. they are already cut, sewn, stitched or what ever. save your self some effort. just an idea

Funny you should ask this since I want to make a new screen to replace the decrepit bamboo one we have outside the table dance cranny at Mary's. I was thinking a lightweight wood frame and sheer fabric. Are they gonna let you redecorate at your club?

Ya, when I'm working a mid shift, before 7 o'clock rolls around and bouncers show up, we have to do dances out on the floor. They have nice leather couches in the back, but custy's sometimes bitch about the "openness" and it does invite the occasional table of gawkers to sit nearby and stare. So I've taken it upon myself to find some partitions for the manager to buy. Either that or pay a bouncers salary for a few hours during the day, which I would actually do. We have a really nice lapdance room that really helps sell dances at night. So I just want the same kinda advantage for afternoons.

My boyfriend's an architect so he's gonna acks some of his interior decorating associates for industry places.

I'll let you know what I find about screens, cause that's one of the options I've been thinking.

Have you tried the fabric store Mill End? It's about a block or two from the Bins (the GIANT goodwill store by the Acropolis). It's the largest fabric store in Portland and that way you can actually poke the fabrics and get a good feel for what's best.

I don't kow about expense, but what I have seen several clubs to here...k, well, two clubs...is use beaded curtains. Not the 70's style though, some are very metallic with patterns in them, and cool designs. The look nice and when the club lights hit them they shine. Plus you can see through them quite a bit but it has that feeling of privacy.

    Just a thought.
