    Default Head sweat

I'm so tired of re-doing my hair after the gym. Every time I do cardio my head sweats and it messes up my straight hair. I know I'm going to get kinks and things but it makes it gross all over. Anything you girls can suggest to keep head sweat from ruining my hair?

I usually wrap my hair in a clockwise pattern and tie it up with a scarf or bandana before I do my cardio. and then when I unwrap it it usually looks pretty good.

I'm hoping you get some good suggestions here. I have the same problem and when I do cardio I HAVE to have my hair in a pony tail. Then when I take it down the top part is so flat it looks like it's glued to my head and I have a stupid looking crease that goes all the way around the top of my head from the hair tie.

Sprinkle alittle bit of baby powder on your scalp before/after to soak some of it up.

I've been a gym junkie for about 8 months now and have never overcome this problem. However, I work out so hard and for so long, by the time I'm done, I have to wash my hair. I now wash my hair 6 times a week because I'm at the gym 6 days a week and it pisses me off because I don't like washing my hair everyday, but seriously, my entire hair is SOAKED. I've tried just drying it out, but then it looks so dull.

The only way I've prevented kinks through most of my hair is by taking individual sections and starting from the front of my head, twisting them tightly then pinning them down to my scalp. Then I would put the rest of my hair in a bun...that'd help the few times I didn't wash my hair, but with to the degree my hair gets wet, I give up and decide I may as well wash it everyday.

    So time consuming!
