    Default Scales at the gym...

Does anyone know if the scales at the gyms are accurate or not? If not, how much are they off?

Depends on the gym and if they calibrate them on a regular basis.

Don't know which gym you hit, but the one's at golds (at least the one I go to) seem to be pretty accurate.

The one on 94th and 7th in sandy, though the one you go to is closer to me.

I'm not sure about the accuracy of the scale at my gym, but I know that weighing yourself first thing in the morning after the toilet and before food/water is closest to your actual weight.

Heh, you live close to me!!! Anyway, I like the one on 7th because it's smaller, and less busy. I don't like the 'meat market' feel of the one on 13th. No one bugs me at my gym, and its rarely busy. Anyway, they just recently had one of their scales recallibrated and fixed because it was broken, but it seems to be fairly accurate. However, depending on the time of day, and whether you've eaten, etc, your weight will fluxuate a bit.
