Default How do you know when you ready to leave?

am i ready to leave the business?

I recently had one of those (one of many) days when i said to myself... this is the last day in this place!

to make long story short i've been dancing long time and i do understand WHY i love dancing and WHY i f...g hate it.

I have another business that makes a little bit of money regularly. But not as much i would like to.( i actually make costumes LOL )
and I have other things that i am hoping to make money. so the plan is here. I just hoped to have saved more......and it is impossible to do these days.

it is just that right now I feel like i quit!
    Financially i don't of course.....

I am not completely broke but right on the edge.

How do you know that you quit dancing?
I always say --- oh i will go back tomorrow or whatever. and i don't .
How do you, ladies go about this one?
Any of you are at the same stage? THE end?

I quit so many times (during my career) that i don't know how it really feels to KNOW that you done.

    Any inputs? Please.....

I feel ya! I have been working for an agency for a couple of years now in sales and dispatch and I like it so much more than working the clubs. I'm organizing a burlesque revue and an all male revue and will work as the manager of both groups.

For now, though, I have to keep on dancing. I'd much prefer to not return to the clubs, but I'm not making enough to maintain my lifestyle. I have a quit goal set (ie; a certain number of bills that need to be paid completely and a certain amount in savings), and as soon as I reach that goal, I'm done.

My best advice to you is to start working on the future. Even though dancing is not where you want to be right now, if you keep your eye on your goal it is easier to let the emotional garbage to roll off while you are at work.

I read something interesting that really has me inspired to reach my goal. It is called a "reverse" calendar. For instance, you want to accomplish something and you start your goal setting at your targeted finish date then work backward towards where you are today. I found it really useful to keep me on goal and to take small steps each step of the way.

Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

I think maybe you remeber from the other posts the sitation with toronto's clubs. not that good.
i have have help in the house(partner) and another little income so .. i want to try it. for a while and see.
i know i can always go back.. and maybe i will (next week )
but how does that feel when YOU KNOW that you won't go back? besides the saving account being full?....
