    Default losing weight- WORKED FOR ME :)

    just thought i'd share my secrets becasue this really worked for me

    - take two apple cider vinegar pills with every meal, helps burn tummy fat, aid digestion and also good for immune system

    - a great snack if you are hungry and dont want to be (LOL) celery and low fat cheese. they taste great together, you get savory and crunchy taste and since its fibre and protein, your hunger pangs are gone

    -egg whites! you can buy them pasteurized and in little cartons. i have adapted to chugging them and chasing with a swig of diet coke or green tea (because yeah they taste kind of nasty but they are not unbearable)
    they are pure protein with VERY LITTLE calories so they help you if you are trying to tone up. they also work wonders for your hair and nails.

    -green tea. drinks tons of it all day, just black obviously, no sugar. it has caffeine for energy, tonsn of antioxidants for your skin and immune system and has been proven time and time again to aid in wieght loss. you will feel less hungry

    combine these tips with south beach diet phase one for only TWO WEEKS guaranteed you will lose at least ten pounds in a healthy way, even if you are not working out

    At least 10 lbs lost in two weeks guaranteed doesn't sound healthy at all to me, espically without working out.

    in fact, it sounds anorexic or impossible.

    ^^ yeah and it's the "guaranteed" that gets me...nothing is EVER guaranteed since everyones body is differant

    Not to mention the gross factor of "chugging" egg whites out of a carton...eww....

    Yeah, it might be okay for a special event or something, like a wedding/photoshoot, but no way I could do that 24/7. What a miserable way to live (IMO).

    The part about being hungry, and you don't want to be, then throwing (LOL) in there, like it was a secret little joke...munch on celery and cheese?

    I dunno...how about have a low calorie meal, with balanced nutrition and protien to satisfy your hunger and give you the fuel your body needs, then go hit the gym, so that you can have that "I'm healthy, active and fit" look. Not that "even if you don't work out" starved look.

    Just a thought.

    Healthy weight loss is about 1-2 pounds per week, unless you're very overweight, and if you're a stripper, I doubt that you are.

    Chugging egg whites straight out of the carton does sound yucky. I'd much rather cook 'em up in a pan-it's still healthy for you that way too.

    lol. fasting has it's time and place. it can really be beneficial.

    Hunger is not a bad thing. Hunger is good. The problem arises when people eat when they are not hungry. If your hungry, then eat! snacking when hungry might take the pains away temporarily, but then you'll just get hungry again in a few hours. A much better idea is to eat when you hungry. Eat a meal. Grilled chicken with a small baked potato and some asparagus. Perfectly healthy, filling meal that will keep you not only feeling full for hours, but also feeling satisfied.
    And chugging egg whites? Why not just cook them? Taste better, and again, you get satisfied from actually eating, instead of drinking some raw nasty egg whites.

    It def does. Even a semi fast(otherwise known as severe calorie restriction...which I am trying to do now) can help kick start your metabolism and clean out your system. A few days to a week of this and I feel much healthier, more energized and motivated since i've lost some weight quickly(mostly water I know, but it still makes me feel better!)
    It also gets me out of the habit of eating big bowls of spaghetti for lunch! After a semi fast....just a little bit of my fav foods satisfy me!

    well..i did it for two weeks only and it rid my body of all the sugar i had been consuming and got rid of my sugar/carb cravings. it was a really great thing for me.

    whatever works for you!!!!!!!!

    i think the original post was just a helpful post.. i dont think its deranged or whatever .. if its working for her and she feels good she is just passing on a little tip for what might work for others..
    alot of times "diet tricks" get a bad rap ..but then when someone posts that theyve pigged out they get all the oh its ok girl youre still pretty blah blah
    pigging out can be gross and weird fasting diets can be gross.. but if the person posting is just trying to "help" good for them
    gulping egg whites makes my stomach churn but someone that gobs down a whole pepperoni pizza ..thinking about their intestines makes my stomach churn too.. just seeing alot of negative postings when people are just trying to be friendly and helpful thats not good

    I can't fast anymore, my anemia is too severe, but I used to fast for 3-5 days. Now I just do 1 day for religious fasts, or occassionally if I'm sick.

    I know people who have done fasts for as long as 11 days, and the healing is amazing!!!!

    Isn't it dangerous to consume raw egg?? What kind of cheese are you eating with the celery? Cottage?
