    Default Question on hair extensions

So, I've read a lot of the hair extensions threads and done searches on it. I'm trying to grow my hair out because it is getting longg. I get it chemically straightened and use those "kid" relaxers because it seems to grow longer, more quickly, and less fragile. I also have a few blond highlights and care the shit outta my hair.

Although it has grown, it'll prolly take another year before it gets long enough for me (I really need to grow it out in the front, I have these bangs that I hate from a previous TOO MUCH BLEACH incident oops). Can you get tracks sewn in? I don't mean a WHOLE weave, I mean maybe 4 tracks sew in in various places....

I know a couple girls that use the clip in extensions. They work well and look really good.

I say it all the time, but clip ins are my favorite. They can do anything!!!! And there's no committment, and no damage.

Where do you buy your clip ins? Do they actually stay in, I keep thinking if I was dancing somehow they'd fall out of my head >.<

I won't tell you to do a search because it might be hard to find.

I got my original ones at Sally, but after looking at them I realized I could make my own. I bought the hair and the good clips (the ones from Sally, not from the ghetto beauty supply, their hair is fine, but their clips suck).

Sometimes I use hard hold gel to keep them in place in my hair. You have to tease the root of your hair a bit and then they will stick in pretty good. Anymore I just tease them and forego the gel because it is too messy. I don't swing my hair around a ton, but I am a fairly aggressive dancer. I will post a pic of me with my extensions in.

My actual hair is shoulder length, but it's thin and not stripperish enough for me. I looooove my clip ins. I have made some blonde ones that I add in for highlights. Even girls I work with are surprised when I tell them it's all extension. I've practiced enough to make them look really real.

You should see my bedroom. I have wires hooked up to hang my hair from, and I have about ten different pieces/clip ins that hang from hooks in my closet. I'm a hair queen and proud of it.

I just saw that you are in Indy. Let's have lunch sometime, I'll teach you everything you need to know about clip ins. What side of town are you on? Actually, we could probably take this to PM. Everyone might not necessarily be fascinated by our hair talk. haha.
