I recently revisited this 90s fave of mine, as well!

I remember always liking it much better than SNL...It's hilarious!

I would always catch the reruns on BET. It was definitely one of my favorite shows. This was back when Jim Carrey was known as "James Carrey". My favorite skits were Fire Marshall Bill ("LEMME SHOW YA SOMETHIN!"), Homie The Clown ("<smack> Homie don't play dat!"), and a few others. Heh.

THE FLY GIRLS! YES! Remember that this is where J. Lo got her start!

Rhiannon, I loved those bits too! Ahh, the young James Carrey. I remember one little moment they gave him that wasn't even a skit in any way, and wasn't really stand-up, either - they just basically let him cut loose. All he did was stand there & freak out and make faces and it was freakin' hysterical Anyone else remember this one?

LOL Yep! I remember that one. I miss those days of him. He wasn't so arrogant and full of himself. I have one of his first movies (that's also one of my all-time-fave movies) "Once Bitten". He was awesome in that as well.

I liked J-Lo back in the "Living Color" days too. The Fly Girls were actually choreographed by Rosie Perez. What ever happened to her anyway? I haven't seen her in anything in ages.

I was a Fly Girl during its second season. Let me tell you, Marlon Wayans was a grabby SOB.

^^"Once Bitten" was watched regularly when I was in HS. That corny dance routine at the end where the vamp and his girlfriend fight over him is pure gold.

Also, there's a bar on South Street in Philly that has Fire Marshall Bill painted on their fire exit door. It always makes me chuckle.

Whenever we get new seasons of it in at Blockbuster, I snag em. That and when they come out, my coworkers are reminded to call me one of the Hedleys. *sigh*

My All Time Favorite "In Living Color" skit was on an out-takes episode, sadly...the guys are at a Men's Wilderness Retreat (a la "Iron John") and David Alan Grier is offering to take Tommy Davidson out in the woods and f*ck him to make him feel more like a man. LOL I still laugh about that.
