This is the dirty little secret I have learned from being a more regular customer over the last year. Especially during the day shift, or maybe on a slow weekday night, a lot of the time you're just sitting there, a handful of customers in the place you've already made your rounds of, waiting for your stage set you've done 1,000 times and could do in your sleep.
From the outside it always seemed like the glamorous life of money and champagne and nakedness and flirting and (maybe) sex ... most customers really don't appreciate the predominance of "geez, do I still have 3 hours left in this dead shift?"

) "Man, so glad you came in this afternoon, there have literally been like 5 guys in here all day and 4 of those were (fill in the blank's) regulars." And I hear about the winter being the dead time, and how that's the case right now.
We would play with the security cameras instead. Yes, we were that bored. There were days we would take bets on how long it would be before we got our first customer, how long it would be before somebody had an 'emergency' and had to leave, who was going to fight with their BF, etc. Hey, it's all we had.
