Default Restalyne injection in top lip, why same price as 2?

I have called a few local plastic surgeons out here to see if they can just plump my top lip and they say yess and when I ask for the price its the same as for top and bottom lip. I know this stuff comes in a vile, though this will be my first time, wouldnt one lip be like half the vile therefore half the price?? I am not gonna spend $800 bucks for one lip!

They can't use the same vial for two people, you know... what's not used has to be thrown out, so they charge for the whole thing.

why do you only want one done anyways?

that seems to me like asking for just one implant....

Yeah, its because of the vial of injection. They tend to sell it by the cc, but you can't buy a half of one because they aren't packaged that way and the package can't be reused. They would probably put most, or the full amount in your top lip so the amount of Restalyne used would stay about the same, and the cost would be the same.

Some people (like me) have full lower lip and a thinner upper lip, so I can see why...but then I'd use the extra for something like my nasal labial folds or something

    oh. ok.....

but maybe they can just put most of it in the upper, and a little in the lower. To have it only in the upper seems disproportional, even if you have a fuller lower lip.

Thanks guys. Well I already have "big lips" but my lower lip is significately fuller than my top so I want then to be even. Especially cuz when I smile my top lip thins out and bottom lip looks even fuller for some reason. So I need to even them out but there is no way I will add to my bottom lip, if anything it needs to be smaller. Can they use the extra on your cheekbone area?? didnt even think about that till now.
