Lightbulb a great way to get over the "no's"

so i was thinking of it this way the other night, the night i did myself proud.

think of the floor as a board game covered in grey squares. the custys are the grey squares and under just some of those squares are gems but the rest there is nothing. in order to find the gems, you hav to eliminate the grey squares.

    so.

every no you get is one less square to get to the gems!

the more nos you get, the closer you are to the gems

Yeah, I find that it always helps to seriously dehumanize the customers. (I am not being sarcastic.) I've never gone this far, though. But I will definitely try it! The gem idea is great! Customers that spend ARE gems...

the others are just grey squares that don't matter!

    Yay!

No no see.. if it's minesweeper... then all are gray, but it helps you figure out the gray ones around him as people don't spend around other nonspenders.. so you find a spender and keep looking until you find the bomb with all the money... until then you can get 2 or 4 or 5... the more you get. the closer you are...

    It's minesweeper...

    >_>

haha! i think minesweeper is easier then stripping, as long as you're a good stripper.

you just hav gotta learn the rles like with any game, you just inderstand the rules of the club betyer then the rles of mibesweeper.

i'm gonna say thatm, about minesweeper!!! love it!

Paris came up with a great game in re: the NOs.

The gist of it if I am remembering correctly (she can correct me if I am wrong) is that you go out there and try to get as many NOs as possible. Okay, you don't want the customers to really say NO of course however it will help you get used to "rejection" and overcome it.

Also, ALWAYS ALWAYS "anchor" your wins in some way.

All I can think of is a stripper chick looking over a room of guys in gray suits and numbers on their chest.

I guess I've been thinking about it like this for a while, actually: If a guy says no, I can cross him off the list and keep going. I'm also a long-time Minesweeper addict...maybe this has influenced my hustling skills?

Anchor-ing your wins: Do some sort of gesture(privately, inconspiciously) whenever you sell a dance to someone so that you can re-inforce the positive in your mind psychologically. This is called "anchoring your win"... even if it is a small gesture... something that re-inforces the "win" (which is you closing the sale).

Well, I always snap my fingers or clap my hands or something once I know I have the dance. Anything. It doesn't have to be big. Just a movement you do so that you can psychologically anchor the win.

    i dont get it.

mind sweeper sounds less weird, at least the custy doesnt know what your thinking, and theres no external action.
