    Default tanning beds and lotions?

Just curious if any of you still tan or not and what kind of beds and lotions do you use?

I just started tanning again last week, and I am using the level 1 beds. I was using Dangerously Dark by SB, but I tried Priceless tonight and love it.

I know quite a few of the oldsters are against tanning, lol; but I had to ask.

I have no idea what level bed I use, but it's called a bolarium.

I use either Velvet Nights or Omega 3 cream, both by Fiji.

Designer skin makes good products. I like their Ray of Light. It smells good and I think is a quad bronzer.

I use all 3 levels of beds at the salon i go to switch them up every time I go. I like hot chocholate, beach bum rum and carmel spice. I have been using a mixture of java chocholate by Sexy U (sallys beauty supply) and carmel spice so that the tingle is not as strong as its a level 7 tingle OUCH! but i must say beach bum rum is my fav! No tingle and it leaves a really pretty shimmer on you when your done tanning!

I love Designer Skin products!! I recently switched from Worship Me back to Ray of Light. Love, love LOVE all of their products, though!!

Not sure what level of bed I use, but I know it's the best one my salon offers!

I've always like Designer Skin and Matahari for when I need to be especially dark.

I have no idea what kind of bed I use..its a lay down and not nearly as strong as the stand up beds in my salon. I tried those, and while I'm sure they are better...it was SO hot I couldnt breathe. I dont use any tingles or tanning lotion.

I think my bed is a level 2 or 3. I need to get some new bulbs for it. The current ones still give me some colour, but it is no longer as strong. Sometimes I don't use any lotion, but if I do, its an austrailian Gold product.

I use the Matrix beds at the salon chain I go to. Since you're in Kentucky and I'm in Tennessee, I'll tell ya that it's Sun Tan City, they have a ton of places around us. The Matrix is the strongest bed they offer, and I LOVE it.

I used to use Bombshell lotion, but I went back to Worship for a while. Designer Skin makes some awesome stuff!

Regarding beds I like the Ergoline beds, I only have to go twice weekly to stay super dark.

Well, I have to say I bought a bottle of Priceless off of eBay for $25 today, lol. I have only been 4 times now and the last time (with the priceless) I tripled my color.

More people are noticing how much darker I am now, and I think I look thinner when I am tan, lol!

the trick to safe tanning (if there really is such a thing) is not so much in the 'strength' of the tanning bed's lamps, but in the 'dosage'. I have my own home tanning bed and would do short sessions every other day to minimize the UV 'stress' on my skin.

As far as tanning lotion, I make my own ... based on tea tree oil, olive oil and coconut oil.

I've never used lotions mainly because I dont know anything about them. I tan several times a week(now that I've started again) on the lower strength bed...because I burn fairly easily and I'm afraid of it. I"ve had some pretty bad(second degree burns) sunburns in my life and I'm paranoid...so i just do it a little at a time.
I've got a pretty good base now ....and would love to use some sort of bronzer to speed it up just a little. Any suggestions? (nothing with self tanner in it as I'm allergic)

Well.. I just started using this lotion called "Lipstick Tini" I swear to god.. it works wonders. I never ever used tanning lotion ever b4. I felt is if I never needed to waste my money. But wow.. what a difference. My tan stays longer, plus it will help protect ur skin from ageing. Every night, I get complements at work about my skin color. I was always against useing the frigging tanning lotions. But what a difference.

Worship Me, Ray of Light and Spellbound are all great non-tingle options from Designer Skin.

Yes! Spellbound smells exactly like Ralph!! The only thing that I don't like about it is that the silicone clogs my razor when I shave my legs. Otherwise, I'd probably use this one exclusively.

I use the new Crystal X by Australian Gold. It is pricey, but it has ten bronzers and a body blush in it. It also smells great! Love this stuff!
