Default To Nair or not to Nair - but by no means am I shaving!

Okay, here is my question - does anyone know of a good depiliatory cream for the bikini/Brazilian area???

I cannot shave for the one HUGE reason that I have stubbles the next day. It doesn't matter what kind of razor I use or how many blades are in the razor - I just end up with stubbles the next day.

I'm on a budget right now until finances get better, so waxing is out of the question.

So that leaves me back to my original question - depiliatory cream. Years ago I used Nair and I hated the smell and it didn't remove all of the hair. So now I'm wondering if there are better formulas or better brands that some of you stand by for this kind of task!

I'm allergic to depilatory creams. Makes me break out in nasty red bumps. Be careful!

I always get soo red & sensitive when I use them! Even the formulas meant for sensitive skin.

    Watch out!

Ooohhhhh, the last time I used nair I burnt the shit out of my skin. Just buy Sally Hansons extra strength wax, not the new bikini one 9doesnt' work)..... they are the same price roughly as a bottle of nair. I like to wax teh top and shave the bottom, because thetop is teh only part that bothers me when it gets stubble.

I used Nair once, and it made me red and itchy. If you really want to use a Nair-like product, be very careful! The chemicals are very strong, even in the sensitive skin versions.

Go with a good Brazilian wax.

    OH MY GOD.

I got a majorly bad and extremely painful chemical burn on my delicates from using Nair. If you're going to do it, use a mirror and be damn precise with your application because a huge red blister is NOT sexy. I speak from experience.

I'm done with Nair. The least offensive hair remover is the one from Avon in a baby blue bottle. I know I've posted an image of it before in another thread if you search you should be able to find it.

If you can't get any Avon remover go with Sally Hansen. Always do the 24 hour test before doing the whole area. I've been doing this for years, and I refuse to go near a shaver or wax when this is so much faster and painless.

Pleasure victim, how long does the smoothness last with the avon stuff? I do use sally hansen wax, but I'm finding it harder and harder to find the type I like, as it is slowly being replaced with this other wax that does nothing at all.

Hmmm, honestly I've never paid much attention to how many days. I'm guessing thr cream won't last as long as the waxing- but I can tell you that I can go almost 2 weeks without having to reapply (the hair starts to grow back by then but it isn't noticeable in the club). I'll be sure to pay more attention next time.

None what so ever- I would have stopped using it if I had. I don't leave it on longer than 3 minutes either. I've never even attempted to shave my vagina or legs... I've always used depilatories. My skin isn't very sensitive though, so if you try just be careful and test a small area first.

NAIR BIKINI CREME IN VANILLA SMOOTHIE

There's only one kind--I swear by it and will do NOTHING else down there! It's $4.99 at the drugstore...am I the only one that loves Nair? It's special for bikinis tho, I've never used the regular crap there! (and yes, I've done the ENTIRE thing)

Let me know if you seriously want to buy it/find it, I'll give you some tips...

    Nooooo!! Nair is the debbil!

I used it one time and had massive chemical burns on my legs. That looked really sexy. LOL If you use it, spot test it first!!

I wish i had any sort of reaction from Nair. It just pisses me off to sit in my room with legs akimbo with cream all over my kitty, just to wash it off and see no difference

OKay, this stuff is WAY old school, but another girl who dances and has sensetive skin like me suggested it.... It's called Magic Shave, it comes in a can and there's a formula for sensetive skin. It's actually made for men's faces, black men to be exact, because they have a very hard time shaving.....

I've used it many times, and the result has always been fantastic, it just takes a wee bit of time.... So, there's my .02 cents. Good luck hun!
