clip ins, b/c you take them out to sleep. with extentions, your head rubbing against a pillow and detangling your hair and extentions are the 2 ways most of the hair breaks. but if you can brush the extentions while they're not in it won't pull at your hair, and not sleeping in them helps keep your hair safe.

Microlinks are the least damaging IMO. Ultress are the next least damaging. My stylist will only do non damaging extentions and those are the ones he prefers.
I have ultress right now. The don't last super long (2-3 months), but they are great for the top of your head to add volume as well, you cant tell they are there. Next toime I am going to get the microlinks, but stick w/ the ultress on top. Oh, and both are really good quality hair.

A lot of girls that I work with have either great lengths (poor quality hair) or mia bella. Both bond using keratin and heat. My stylist seems to think this damages hair and he won't do it.

I've used GreatLenghts and Euroloc. I think Euroloc are less damaging because they are attached with that little square peg. And they are re-usable, hence less expensive.

Taking good care of your hair with the extentions is very important. Either way, some additional hairs are going to be pulled out when you remove them. Plus, the hair becomes dreadlocked keeping them in.

If you have the money, I would re-do the extentions every two months. After that, the hair seems to start getting damaged.

Microlinks is similar to the Euroloc extensions that you described. I haven't had them yet. Ultress extentions come out w/o taking any hair out.

I liked great lengths when I had them, but they are really expensive. I don't feel that they damaged my hair too much, but I only had them in like 4 months

i have been told tho they are made wrong- there is two layers of hair on a clip and thers only ment to be one? i might pull them apart and try making them thinner?:

that euroloc thingie sounds good! i might look into that

How much does your stylist charge? I am losing tons of hair and it looks horribly thin.

I had "Mega Hair" extensions a little over a year ago. The hair is suppose to be european but it seemed much more course then my hair which happens to fine. I think the hair might have been middle eastern instead of "european". Anyway, my natural nair is shoulder length and pretty fine. The hair costs 200 bucks per box and it took four boxes of hair for me to achieve hair mid-waist. Plus 200 per box to put them in. 1600 total plus tip. I think it came out being 1800. Then it sheds like crazy and every time you brush it with the special brush you are suppose to use parts come out. I had to get a new box every other month to keep it looking nice. So, 1800 down with 450 upkeep every other month and not a whole lotta difference in money because all the other dancers had long hair and I think the shorter hair/soccer mom look I had made me stand out.
