    Default Lying About Your Age

Who does it, who doesn't do it... and why? I'm not saying that such-and-such age is too old to dance or something like that, I'm wondering what the best age(s) is/are for making the most money!
If you think school is hard, try being stupid.

I'm 33 and I have never lied about my age. Well, except when I was a teenager trying to get into bars

I find that as I get older guys are MORE impressed because I look good for my age. Also most guys with money to spend like a woman with experience, who can talk about mature subjects.

Yah, the only time I ever lied about my age (I know now that this was bad naughty, not funny naughty but didn't then) was when I danced in strip clubs using my friend's ID and social security number bc I was underage. I was 21 for 4 years....18, 19, 20, and when I was really 21.

I never lie either. Im 36 and pretty much what Brigette said.

However Ive noticed that 36 is the magic age where people sometimes just up it to 40. Quite often one customer will say to the other "My god, can you believe this girl is 40?!" I never got this when I was 35 or under, lol.

I kinda like adding a couple of years. I'm fishing for compliments.

Plus younger guys think it's hot and older guys think you're more sophisticated.

I agree Em, go as high as is believeable.

I can easily pull off 23, so that's what I say. This way I can be in school or done, depending on my mood, they think my drinks are real....

    I'm 19.

I don’t lie but I do try to avoid the question. I would just rather keep it to myself.

I'm 28 and I always tell the truth. I've noticed that usually the only dancers who get offended by "How old are you" questions are the older ones who haven't aged well.

Mmm. Im not quite 19 but I say 19 now because for some reason 18 makes me a baby and them a perv. 19 is perfectly fine, though...

I am 27. When I started dancing at 26 I lied a couple of times coz I thought men would prefer a dance with a younger girl but I found that not to be true. Now I tell everyone the truth. I love to watch their reactions when i tell them they always think I'm between 19 and 23. I even had an argument with one customer who refused to believe and thought I was younger and lying.

I look young. I am 28 and I never lie. I get the you are lying thing a million times a night. Who would lie about being 28 if they were really 22? I hate that.

Hm.. i actually ALWAYS say I'm 21. (im 20) this is because a guy seems to be less inclined to buy VIP if he knows you will be completely sober. (I still am, I just get a "mamosa" which is code for oj and sprite.) It makes sense since more then 1/2 of the VIP prices is for the champange.

I don't lie about my age. I don't see the point. It actually is a good thing for me as no one ever picks me for 28 !! They are surprised that I am my age and thus impresses them I have looked after myself so well I love my age so that's the other reason I don't lie .........I can't wait to hit my 30s!

I know I've said this quite a few times already however this is a great way for patrons to "put up or shut up" and usually (actually 100% of the time would you believe it) they will shut up if you do this.................. If they don't believe you about your age, name (if you use your real name first name like me) and/or where you live (anything that your drivers license can tell about you) then tell them to put $100 on the table right now (up-front) and you will go get your driver's license.

If they ask why such a high amount of money for you to go get your driver's license say that it is the fee you charge to allow people to see personal details of yours ... no one really asks "why" ... they usually just shut up (I've only had one or two guys ask in all those years "why").

I have yet to have any takers on that offer and I've been doing it for years now. BOO!!!

^Only $100 for your personal government-issued ID? Sheeeit. I'd have to say at least $5k for that. Guys have spent $1k+ on me MANY times and not even gotten my first name. So why would I give away full details for $100?

    Always aim higher, I say

Whilst I totally am with you on that... I say that because 100% of the time that I have used that line when people don't believe me about my age, name or whatever it is ..it is a case of the person being cheap anyway so when you involve any money esp. something like $100 they shut up.

It's the old "put up or shut up" thing. I tell them to "put up" $100 and they always shut up and never persue the matter.

.......and I have been doing this for years. I can assure you none of the guys who argue with you about what your real name/age/etc are will spend that sort of money for that sort of information so it is quite safe.

The guys that do spend heaps of money don't usually persue the matter from my experience. It is always the time-wasters and cheap skates that argue with you. The ones with money couldn't care less what your real name/age/whatever is... they just want to leave smiling.

I've always told the truth about my age (now 27). I might start to lie when I get older, I'm not sure.

I'm 22 and I never lie about my age, but I always get accused of it. People always think I'm much older Although they often say it's because I'm "so articulate" and I "speak like a 26-27 year old"

I never lie about my age. Yesterday was my birthday, since the DJ kept announcing that everyone was asking me how old I am. When I told them 38 the ususal response was why do you tell your real age?
I'm proud of how old I am and, not to toot my own horn, but how good I look for my age so why should I lie about it?

I'm 21, but most guys guess me older (24ish), so I let them believe whatever they want. Plus sometimes I conjure some pretty far out life stories that work better if I've got more years to play with in the narrative.

I know; I just like to give people a hard time sometimes. In case you never noticed before
$100 is kinda the default "bet" when you either really want someone to STFU or when you really really think you're right.

But yeah, regardless, my motto is always MORE

I always say "would you like me to lie or tell the truth". If they say "lie", I'm 23. If they say "truth", I say "26" which is still a lie (I'm 29 as of last week).

I will be 30 in 5 months, I have had not one guy guess my age over 23 so for the younger guys as in under 30 lookint I lie for the old guys, who tend to spend a little more I tell the truth, they think i am full of it but they also like that they aren't looking at someone young enough to be their daughter- whatever works right?!
