    Default The Fountain (movie)

I saw this over the weekend and absolutely LOVED it! Now, this isn't simply a movie, its more creative cinematography with some attached allegory. So often, these types of movies don't pull it off. Perhaps I was in a very emotional state when I saw it, but I absolutely love it. My mind was reeling the entire time. Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz are two of the most attractive people in existance.

The end was laborious though. Anyone else seen this and have comments?

I was gonna bring it home today but we didn't get it in with our shipment. I want to see it so bad!

The end can be read in a sexual manner, like I did. I then erupted into hysterical laughter & stifled it because I was a crowded theater.

The movie also made me sad, I was near tears at some points in the film. I think most people are too fallible & frightened to have a great love or have a great epiphany.

I too loved this movie. I saw it in an empty theater - well there were two people who left halfway through the movie (not enough cowbell,I guess).

I'm so glad I saw it theatrically though - the movie is definitely one for the large screen.

I thought it was a very brave gambit on the moviemakers part, and not all of it worked. But overall it had quite the punch. I want to see it again on DVD, but on my tv I know it won't be the same.

It reminded me a lot of 2001, and how that movie really seems to expand my wee little brain.

I saw it not long ago and really loved it. The imagery alone made it worthwhile...

I really wanted to see it for a while, but then got busy and forgot about it.

Now I'm definitely going to go out and grab it sometime.
