So i wanted to get others opinions and after the 1st post based on majority of opinions i decided to wait and told everyone i would update (which is why the post this month).. and then i decided to take pics of the outfits i have so that i could get opinions on them and i love everyones advise on here and really appreciate the input and it does help. I mean really i couldve went in there wearing a body stocking with the red thing over it and looked like a total dork but luckily i came here 1st and almost everyone said omg dont wear that it dont look right lol.. not 1 or 2 but almost everyone so it must look really dumb its not that i care 100% what people think about me cause thats not the case at all but im sure everyone here will tell me honestly if something just dont look right.. and thats good. Its not that im stalling really im just trying to get close to my goal weight of 125 but if this month goes by and im under 130 im going anyhow so it should be this month or early next for sure I am really working hard to get to where i want to be and it also feels great when i update and everone tells me its noticable. I mean yeah i coulve went when i was 183 and auditioned lol but i knew i just shouldnt do that so i started to lose it its not that i was stalling then either really i just know better.. Im just not in a rush to go and we are ok financially b/c my hubby has a full time job of course the extra money will be good but in the meantime im just working on toning some more and getting stuff together. Ill have one more update and that will be the one when i know when im going in for the audition..
I'm in the same boat. I'm still working on losing a little more weight - not because I couldn't find a club now I could work at - simply because I want to look my best taking my clothes off.

In everyday life I am FINE with my body (well almost) since I have gone down from 235lbs (yeah, I was BIG - got diagnosed with Insulin Resistance, got put on Byetta and have dropped A LOT - about 50lbs - worth of weight. I still have about 30 more to go until I'll feel comfy, luckily when I put my mind to it I do tend to lose weight fairly easily. I am so lucky my body has been forgiving to me, carrying all that weight around and yo-yo dieting before then). I'm not quite desperate enough yet to go in being a little heavier than I rather be. I guess it could be seen as stalling, but in reality it's waiting until you can go in, be proud, and make the most monies!

So, if it's opinions you want, it's opinions you'll get! I'm new here, I'll have to introduce myself later on here.....on that "intro page".

I might be new, but I've just gotta put in my two cents: Love the tube dress, love it.....I think it'd be great for an audition, easy to deal with, simple, and hot.

Your legs are nice, I think big calves are nice, besides, they don't stand out as particularly big anyway....you're probably just focusing on them too much, so it seems worse than it is.

    The shorts outfit.....hate it.....hate it
I think it's something about the appearance of the shorts from the front....not flattering to your shape (which is just awesome, btw) I just think that from the front, those shorts aren't quite your best choice, maybe a pair that ride lower on the hip would be nice? just an opinion.....but they look great from the back.

I look like a total tool in bodysuits, so I wouldn't wear one for an audition.....but if it's what you feel sexiest in, go for it.....if you feel hot; it's pretty safe to say you'll look hot.

I just bought a pair of 1/4 strap clear stillettos....they make me a giant, I've been wearing them around the house a lot though, and they do make me look pretty good if I do say so myself (and I have BIG legs, gymnastics "thunder thighs") I'm just working on being more graceful with them, but I think they're pretty damn flattering, and the clear strap is almost unnoticeable....which is good, because those "mule" shoes come flying off of my feet like a missile sometimes, so they're a no-no.....

I have seen that type of newbie-ism at the club.

One of the new girls at the club was tryina incorporate the pole into her routine and doing a dreadful job of it (she was drunk all the time so she was most likely just tryina hold herself up).

She had three moves. They consisted of:

    1) Sliding the pole between her ass cheeks
    2) I don't know how to describe it, it was as if she was jerking the pole off ( ?) while angrily talking AT the custys, then she would lick the pole (Eeewww!).
    3) Holding on to the pole while doing the "mashed potato / washing machine / twist / whatever it's called" (best way to describe it).

While she was "executing" her #3 move, she lifted her leg and starts air humping .

Poor dude sitting at the stage (fist full of ca$h and ready to tip, may I add) got a face-full of stilletto stripper mule. Needless to say, he did not tip her.

I went over to him when it occurred (cause I felt badly and embarrased for him) and he ended up tipping me the fistful of moolah .

Moral of the story: Stay away from mules if you're new.

    LoL !

hmmm.....well now I'm wondering if the mule=missile problem is a newbie-ism.....I always thought it (in my case) was more of a fat-foot/too much ballet-ism lol.....whatever, that's why I buys muh shoes wit' straps!

While walking and performing in stripper mules isn't impossible for anyone, it does take some getting used to.

I bet if you practiced walking around your house enough anyone (from newbie to ballerina ) will eventually master the "mule-walk;" LoL .

I have a few pairs of mules that tend to fly off if worn as is. So to keep them on I wrap elactic around them (under arches), then secure them to my legs by lacing them up ballet style. Works like a charm! Some dancer stores carry pre made lacings like this, but I just buy elastic by the yard at the fabric store. I have lacing to match certain colored mules, as well as other colors I pair with clear mules to match other outfits.

Muahahahahaha! Now THERES one for the stripper hall of shame! This 'twist' dance has given me a mental picture of how Bevis and Butthead would dance.
