Post (Chemically) Transgendered Frogs: Could Humans be Next?

(Click on the URL link to read on humanity's industrialist effect on biodiversity, or dwindling lack thereof: >>> http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20070227/sc_afp/scienceenvironmentanimalssexfrogs)

    Let me break it down:

In two control groups intended to reflect natural frog population in the wild, scientists determined male to female ratio to be 50:50.

In a laboratory experiment, two groups of frogs were exposed to the same levels of estrogen (female hormone) detected in NATURAL bodies of water in Europe, Canada and the U.S. (water WE are exposed to; i.e. water we DRINK, COOK and BATHE with).

The results were: Frog group A became 95% female and Frog group B became 100% female -

    !!!

Why should we care about frogs?

Well, for one, frogs balance nature by helping to keep the insect population in check. Even a small drop in frog species is significant enough to result in breakouts of illnesses such as influenza type B, meningitis, encephalitis, cholera, viral hepatitis, parasites, typhoid fever, dengue fever, malaria, west nile, schistosomiasis, etc (in other words, nasty stuff).

In other words, they help keep all this sh*t at bay.

Another reason this is pertinent to us (humans) because, "Pesticides and other industrial chemicals have the ability to act like estrogen in the body." And since these pesticides are widespread environmental toxic factors, it stands to reason that what is now being observed in nature through the frogs, will also eventually reflect in the human population.

In other words, how would we feel about 95% -100% of our babies being born GIRLS (There would be so much Pepto Bismol Pink everywhere; LoL) !!!

    Thoughts? Comments?

Oh Paige honey, then they would never know the pleasures of being dominated , broken-in and taught their place by you .

Tee hee hee Zabrina (that was cute).

    Viva les Amazonians ?

However, that would make men then much more valuable in society because all of the women would be competing for his sperm ("according" to Darwin) and taking over the "strong" male roles while reassigning the "delicate" role to the endangered male ("endangered male;" LoL) .

Like in that AXE commercial, when all the island women in swimsuits are running to attack the one guy .

P.S. I have asked this somewhere else before, but just to make sure - Does my font / font colour offend ?
