Default Hair Fix hair powder (like the old bumble & bumble)

My hair is fragile so I try not to wash it every day particularly now that it's highlighted. Otherwise it breaks and turns brassy more quickly. Anyhow, I do have the new B&B aerosol hair powder. It works fine to freshen up my hair in between shampoos but it's kinda messy. The aerosol spray has a tendency to leak out of the can slightly and well, I've just found it to be messier than I anticipated. So I've been searching high and low for a product similar to Bumble & Bumble's discontinued loose hair powder and hot damn I think I may have found it:

I ordered some off of ebay tonight. Free shipping too! Has anybody tried this product yet? I'm very excited for it to arrive.

What colour is your hair? I'm blonde/dirty blonde and just use baby powder. May also work in darker hair with just a little bit more rubbing in. Baby powder is the best for my lazy days!

D, my base color is very dark...like level 3 dark. Baby powder just leaves a greyish cast. I've used it several times in a pinch but no matter how much I blend, shake or fluff, the greyishness remains.

AN, I considered pssst but, again, it's white so I would have the same issue as with the baby powder.

I use the new B&B hair powder and I've never had a leaking problem. Then again, I only apply it once in a day and I store it upright. If you're using it in a similar way, maybe you're a victim of faulty packaging. Can you exchange it?

Let me know how the Hair Fix works. It seems to be a couple bucks less than the B&B and If it's just as good, I'm in!

perhaps I've simply yet to master the proper spray technique. My hands are a mess when I'm done (but at least it easily washes off) and sometimes I accidentally spray my scalp (part line) and I think that looks a bit odd. Anyhow, the hair fix came in today and I will update how I like it when I return from vacay next week.

update: ok, so I do like the product. It does what it's supposed to and has a nice scent as well. I don't particularly care for the bottle it comes in...I think it needs to be in more of a salt shaker type dispenser. But maybe I'm just being overly picky since I was complaining about the aerosol spray as well. I think the aerosol spray does provide more "grip" though.
