I have three students confirmed. I'm happy to be doing this, as I think it is totally fun to dance in the stripper fashion, and can make exercise seem effortless.
But...I have a horrible cold. I know I can do the 45 minute class just fine, but I'm really worried about my voice and the impression I'm going to make on the students and the dance studio owner.
I hope everyone likes the moves I'm teaching. I'm worried about being "too sexy" in the class, too. I plan on wearing something that looks semi-strippery (tight spaghetti strap tank top, booty shorts, fishnet thigh-highs and stripper boots). I think the students expect this, and I believe the extreme high heels adds to the workout like a step in a step aerobics class or the rubber tubing in other kinds of exercise classes.
I also have a DJ lighting kit that I'm going to use to re-create the look of a strip club atmosphere. I want the ladies to feel beautiful, and the lighting goes a long way to hiding flaws (you can't beat black light for hiding bruises and stretch marks).
Does anyone have any suggestions as to "props" that might be useful in this class? I'm already bringing folding chairs and yoga mats. I was wondering if elbow length gloves or feather boas is going too far? The students that have confirmed for the class are interested in dancing for their boyfriends/husbands, but I don't want to put off the women that are there for the exercise, either.
*oh, as a side note, this class is open to women ONLY.

. Try swishing it to the back of your tongue, avoiding the tip and sides of your tongue, as the tip and sides contain the most heat receptors.

I've been down with this cold for three days now and I'm hating it.

Just wanted to wish you luck with a little ZINNNNG DANG DOOTHHHHLE.
. I have a bigger ad planned for the paper this week. I'm feeling more confident that I'm not going to kill anyone by asking them to do advanced difficult moves.
