Default scartches, scrapes, bruises and bite marks...

i'm just kind of getting started with stripping, more as a hobby than a source of income (i'm a bit of an exhibitionist )

the problem is that my current job leaves me black and blue - i'm a veterinary technician, and spend a lot of time crawling around on the floor, bashing my hips off of cages and tables while fighting with uncooperative patients, and from time to time i get bitten or scratched, sometimes pretty badly...

i'm also super fair skinned, and have yet to find a coverup make up that's not too dark on me...my skin actually glows a little under the black lights, but the make up and the bruises don't, so i'm really not sure what to do...my instinct tells me to just go with it...i'm delicate, and always have been...but i don't want customers being turned off that i look like i've been beaten up...

any suggestions would be hugely appreciated!

I worked as a vet tech for years so I know exactly what you are talking about. Dont worry about it. Dancing causes a lot of bruises too and guys rarely notice or care. I always have my shins black and blue from the tip rail and my knees bruised from floorwork. Plus bruises on my thighs and/or arms whenever I am learning a new pole trick! (I bruise like a peach!)
VERY rarely a guy will ask about the bruises...I just wink and say "they're from foreplay".....they dont care! Once in a blue moon when the guy INSISTS the bruises MUST come from an abusive boyfriend(because all dancers are abused...ugh...) I "agree" with him and tell him I'm trying to make enough money to move out and get away from him....I've made a lot of tips with that line!(and since some guys have a serious "white knight syndrome" and NEED to feel like they are saving you..I dont feel bad about lying to guys like that...kind of a win-win as I see it)
Of course....you can always tell the truth and say you work as a tech in your other job...could spark an interesting conversation and make the guy even more attracted to you.
Dermablend comes in a lot of shades as does Sally's Airbrush legs...both help to cover bruises really well(I'm fair skinned too)

So just go for it. You'll notice more then anyone!
People always ask me, did I ever learn anything when I was a stripper? Yeah, I did. One man plus two beers equals 20 dollars.

    lol. cameron is spot on.

you can also cover up, like with stockings or opera gloves.... Or wear long sleaves at work! Wearing fishnet can distract ffrom it as well, like a fishnet top or dress w/ long sleves, then a bikini or bra top over, and leave the fishnet on for dances.

Yeah, I bruise horribly, and guys rarely give a crap.

For bruises, get some arnica gel from GNC. It helps heal up the bruises way faster.

I'm just a stripper and I'm still bruised and scratched all the time. Nobody is the wiser in a dark club.

i was hoping that the darkness would hide them, but the black lights actually accent them...

but i think i might just go with it - stick to boots to cover the ones on my shins (and because i'm a boot junkie)...just the thought of trying to cover them all with make up makes my brain hurt...
