I'm not sure about weight loss, but my aunt told me that she used hypnosis to quit smoking. She said it worked like a miracle and she has no idea why. However, she said she would do the weight loss one in a NY minute if she had the opportunity because she's a big believer in hypnosis now. Srry, I know I'm no help, but I'd definitely give it a shot ...




I've tried it using a tape. Didn't work.
I do this for a living (among other things) the right programs work for most people.





i don't know..i believe in hypnosis as a means to uncover the subconscious among other things, but not for weight loss..i think too many people want the easy way out with that one..magic potions, hypnotism, kind get-slim-quick schemes instead of the normal, but hard way.. eat right and exercise. unless its used to get your mind into the mode, i don't see how it would ever have an effect?? not sure, but im pretty open minded and wouldnt mind being proved wrong.
Simone. What hypnosis does is changes when and how you eat and the amount of exercise. I have a great diet plan I put people on but its the diet not the hypnosis that causes the weight loss. Hypnosis just helps you eat a bit less fill up quicker and be more satisfied. It can also ( the main benefit imho) change your relationship with food and make the diet easy to stay on and good choices easier to make when your done. Been at this since last century. YMMV. I have a Cd I sell ( not the diet plan just the hypnosis) average weight loss is two pounds a week. with the whole plan its a pound a day and you keep 90 percent off after 6 months.
Im not here to sell folks Cd's. Im here researching and refining a project for a client to increase her sales, VIP rooms, and number of repeat customers. However I cant resist hypnosis related threads lol. Hope this helps.

I'm doing a 6 week program (12 sessions) with a woman right now, and along with hypnotherapy we are digging through underlying triggers etc. I'm only a few weeks in, but I definitely am making better choices and rarely feeling binge moments.
