    Pepsi V. Coke

This is an off-shoot of the Miracle Whip V. Mayo thread. Just out of curiosity, do you prefer Pepsi or Coke .. or are they the same to you?! Personally I prefer pepsi and diet coke. After I began drinking diet coke, regular coke seemed too sweet to me.

I try not to drink soda too often, but when I do I like Diet Dr. Pepper or Diet Pepsi (especially the Diet Pepsi with the cherry flavor). On my shoot last weekend they had Diet French Vanilla Shasta, which I've never had before but OH MY G-D it was delicious!

I never drink anything but the diet versions, and I can't say I've ever noticed the difference. It's all the same to me.

I need diet pepsi to start the day, it's my equivolent of coffee. But if I'm at a resteraunt I like diet coke from the tap with ice. I hate diet pepsi from the tap because it tastes funny. And I don't like to drink soda from cans, only from plastic cups because other wise i think it tastes funny. I see pepsi is winning so far.

I picked Pepsi. Not only does it taste better to me, but it's the only one out of the 2 I can drink. I have IBS and Coke is too harsh on my stomach

Mox works for PepsiCo, so I try not to support the competition!

Prefer Coke, has a "zangy-er" taste to it

Coke all the way. Pepsi is too weak for me.

I only drink diet soda unless they give me regular soda by accident in my mixer when I'm out at the bar. I think Diet Coke is much tastier than Diet Pepsi. Diet Pepsi seems to go flat on me practically the instant I open it.

I like Diet Mountain Dew and Diet Dr. Pepper better than Diet Coke though.

If regular, than coke. If diet, pepsi. IMO, the diet pepsi tastes less fake.

Coke! I hate pepsi, IDK, it tastes more sugary to me. Like with pepsi, I always think I can feel the sugar clinging to my teeth. Coke feels like it washes all the sugar away! Is that wierd? I've always like Coke better than Pepsi.

I really like Mountain Dew (a pepsi product), but I need to be in the mood for it.

I will only drink Pepsi or Mt. Dew. Coke doesn't have enough pep to me, like it's too bland, and I'm the opposite with Mello Yello. I think it's too strong, and mt. dew is smooth.

OT, but that Baja Blast Mountain Dew only Taco Bell carries is the BEST.

    Coca-Cola...infrequently.

Coke would make a lot more money than they already do if they returned to the old sugar formulation versus the High Fructose Corn Syrup one...

FYI sugar-based Coke can be used as a tanning lotion (the sugar amps the sun's effect) but it's messy & too tasty for ants.

I dont drink caffeine, so its neither one for me but when I did I definately preferred coke. Something about the smell of pepsi reminds me of pine-sol, I dont know why.

Ever get the Coca-Cola they import from Mexico? It's sweetened with cane sugar instead of HFCS and it's sooooo good. It actually has a cola flavor, rather than that sticky syrupy taste that regular American Coke has. There's a cafe near me that sells Mexican Coke in glass bottles and every once in awhile I'll treat myself to one of those.

Hmmm I don't care either one is fine. I try not to make a habit of drinking pop because it stains your teeth, but my sister is addicted to diet coke. I'd rather have water.

Mountain Dew is my soda of choice.. unless I can find that apple soda.. Manzanita I think its called. That stuff is the best.

But for me, straight up.. I go with Pepsi.. Coke is a little too harsh and fizzy... but I rarely drink the full sugared ones anymore.

Both Diet Pepsi and Diet Coke are completely horrible, but I really like both Pepsi One and Coke Zero.. go figure. And in that, I go with Coke Zero. Weird.

Hands down best no cal soda is diet Sierra Mist.. I love that stuff. I try to keep a 12 pack of that and a 12 pack of either One or Zero chilling in my fridge at all times.

    And Fresca ain't bad..
