You actually should never mix fruits and veggies, or fruits and anything for that matter. Your body digests different foods differently. Veggies and startches can be mixed as well as veggies and proteins... but never fruits with anything because basically your stomach takes fruits as pre-digested and when you mix fruit with anything it will just rot in your stomach. It takes 20 min to digest melons, 45 min to digest bananas, 1 hours for dried fruits and about 35 min for all other fruits. tomatos and avocados are the only fruits that can be digested along with veggies. (and you should never mix starches and proteins, or proteins and proteins as they are more complex and mess up digestion)
Human brains run on fructos, so eating fruit is the best thing to eat. As for the extra pulp you can add it to the juice and blend it for a second to make a loose smoothie, or if you want it thicker I'd juice some fruit and then cut up the rest and bend it all together. That's what I eat for most of my day until i switch to veggies around dinner time... Also using fresh fruit juice to make ice cubes is awesome!!
