Default Making no money on the weekends....

I need some help learning how to appeal to guys on the weekends. During the week I always make great money but last night (a friday) it took me forever to sell 1 dance! It seems that the younger guys don't like me. I don't know if its because I cant dance as well as the other girls because I've only been working a month or what. Has anyone nailed the art of appealing to both weekday and weekend men?

With the weekends I tend to use a "gimmick" which for me is my School Girl outfit. If they don't remember your name (as they most likely won't) you want them to remember SOMETHING about you so make yourself stand out in some easily recognisable way.

Weekdays I play the lady as such (long dresses) as I don't need to stand out too much due to fewer girls working tho' I still try to have a unique outfit. Weekends I'm dressed up in my School Girl outfit and ready to have fun!

Then again it depends on the club and what the general populance of that club is on the weekend. At my current (home) club it can still be pretty mixed of a weekend.

In some clubs there really is no difference in the "type" of guys who come in whether it's a weekday or weekend. Every club has a different situation. So what is the difference in the customers between the weekday and weekend folk? With that information, you'll get a lot more answers to your question.

Mostly, you have to be bolder on weekends to appeal to the younger party crowd. Make yourself stand out with a more bold outfit, brush up on your aggressive hustling, etc. Also, work faster - spend less time chitchatting and ask more guys for dances, faster. It's more a wannadance environment so rather than sit and talk you should be just simple-flirting and asking for dances right away.

I have the same problem sort of.... Older guys love me but the younger ones tend to be unintrested.... Ive also found (( that in my club at least )) the younger guys are horrible tippers if they tip at all.

Maybe not in Vegas, but where I live the weekend crowd very different; they are generally young, rude and cheap. I dont like to work on saturdays; other gals bank on saturdays, but they can put up with all the jerks. When I do work on those days I wear short dresses and cheap looking jewlery.
I'm getting my Dial-A-Stripper service up and running again. If you are in NYC or NJ and are interested in private party dancing, email [email protected] with your SW handle, contact info, photo (if you have one) & best time to call and I'll get back to you asap.

If you're having a party and need strippers, email me with the details and any questions you have. Thanks!

Vegas clubs have a lot more diversity than many people realize as far as the clubs go. In some clubs, the difference between the Wednesday night crowd and the Saturday night crowd is tremendous. In some clubs, there is no difference at all. In others it's the same type of people just more of them. Every club has a different story but as a general rule, most clubs just get super busy in which case Bridgette is right...your hustle needs to be very short and to the point.

The same in Ohio as well. Nice, "classy" dresses are a no-go on the weekend crowds. Short, or dam near nothing at all is what sells the younger crowd. They aren't into that whole "less is more" type of wardrobe on dancers. Also, it's a much faster hustle with the younger guys. I'm not there to charm them, or turn them into regulars. They usually have enough for just 1 or 2 dances, and they usually wanna "check out" all the girls before they decide to spend their $50 on. Younger guys who tell me to come back later, I just ask them when...when I come back usually they are ready. If not they are usually just wasting my time and I move on. But I rarely ever sit with a younger person as much as an older guy.

In most clubs u will need a different hustle for the weeknights and weekends because weekends are a faster pace. You dont ever want to be sitting down chatting on a saturday night.

It takes practice. You have only been dancing a month so give yourself a break, it does take time. Just watch how the other girls operate on the weekend.

Also it might not be that young guys dont like you but they just might not like your approach.

As Bridgette said on the busier nights it's "wanna dance" and just party party party, fast paced.

Bridgette and GCG are both right! Gimmicks plus an aggressive/ fast hustle is key on the weekend.
For a young and/or drunk crowd a whip, paddle or riding crop might make a nice gimmick to gain the attention of the customers and then ask for the dance. If you are turned down, just move on quickly. Feather boas, long strands of pearls, a hat (to block the custies view until he is paying attention to you), lighted and blinking jewelry, or really any gimmick will work if you can work it.

Also, realize that sometimes weekdays make it very obvious and clear as to who has money to spend, what with guys in suits. so realize that maybe the same guys are in the club over the weekend, but dressed down. start noticing what guys who have money wear when dressed down. also start watching for the "young professionals" look on a sat. this type will drink a lot, and are 25-30 dressed fairly nicely, not in cheap sneakers. this can be a real test of how to spot the spenders.
and what B said was dead on, as well.

    Love it!

    Leather shoes with no socks!

and golf shirts with specific country clubs on the logo. Maybe a hat with something similar on it or "Titleist"

They still have their nice wallets and carry Treos and blackberries.

^I've been using the phone as an indicator! The guys who need it for work (attorneys, doctors.....) often have it clipped to their belt or they'll take it off and set it on the table.

But, like was said, it's different everywhere. By me, on weekiends I look for the guys who look like they spent the day outside in the sun. They went golfing or boating, and they spend money!

Girl, we are on the same wavelength. I am always on the hunt for men in this attire. They tend to be fresh from the golf course.

I know EXACTLY what the issue is here. Friday and Saturday nights many times have the local young guys in groups, the rednecks, and the working class guys out with a buddy or 2.With a younger crowd, which usually hits the club in groups, it is harder to sell them. Many times you are doing good to get tips out of them on stage.

Weeknights bring in more of the 35-65 year old age group, and the majority of those guys COME IN ALONE. More of these guys are, are financially secure,or are in town on business. They are more looking for companionship, and willing to pay for it, and these guys are home with their families on the weekends.

On Fridays I've started working the afternoon/early evening shift. Come in around 2-4, leave between 8-10. Lots of older men, guys getting off work, casual work parties, etc. It's really nice to be working, in a good headspace, hustling etc when 20 more girls roll in around 9ish stressed out because of all of the girls. I've made enough money, so I just leave and spend the rest of my Friday evening hanging out with my non-dancer friends. (great way to keep yourself sane... preserve that quality time with the rest of your social life!) Generally the later you stay on a Friday the younger and cheaper the guys get. Until about 1am, but those first 4 hours of stress are not much fun.

she said very specifically, older men and younger men.

I'm just a lot more playful and I laugh a lot with the younger guys, whereas with the older guys I'll be more serious and get into a deeper conversation. Young guys don't like those deep conversations so much.

Try wearing a brighter outfit also. I do more evening gowns during the week. The brighter stuff like in my pic on the weekends. Young guys seem to love the colored fishnet. They also like the girls who do the booty thingy but I don't do that. I just think it looks weird. Just pretend like you're at a party, and you're the life of it.
