    Smiley Good Customer..

After reading all these rants on gross/rude customers. I decided to post about two customers that made my night.

So, lately it's been super slow at my club. Most of the time customers aren't sitting at the rack, but instead sitting at the bar and occasionally laying down some cash. Well, yesterday this well dressed gentleman walks in, gets himself a beer and sits at the rack. When I go up on stage...I politely say hello and ask how his day is going. Then he begins talking to me while I'm dancing...and then eventually he says, "You know, you don't have to dance around if you like. And I don't mean to offend you, because it's not that I don't like watching you and watching you move. It's just I prefer to talk to you beautiful ladies more than anything else." So...everytime I went up on stage after that..I would just crouch on the tip rail and chat with him. He was tipping 4 a song, and when he'd run out of $1's he get more come back and even if he'd already laid down $4 he'd add an extra two. He'd told me he'd been driving for 11hours so...perhaps being alone all day..he was really appreciating the conversation and company. Regardless...he did the same for me and the other girl too. Hehe...

#2 This last week one of the other girls and myself were talking about a regular who comes in...watches the girls....from the bar, and then during the second song will walk down and give you ONE DOLLAR for your whole set. And, whilst giving you this ONE DOLLAR he expects you to practically bend over backwards...as if he's doing you a HUGE favor by giving you the dollar. Heh....and then of course we were complaining about the guys who..go even further than that..and just watch you from the bar the whole time but tip NOTHING! ....... So.... yesterday... as I'm dancing for this lovely/fun couple..I turn around to approach the pole and notice this smiling gentleman standing at the entrance to the stage..I walk over and say hi...and he says, "I'm on my way out the door. But, I just wanted to let you know I've been watching you for a long time. Thank you." Then he hands me a wad of cash ($20) and tells me to have a good night. Sighhhh....why can't ALL customers who don't sit at the rack do this?????

Hehe...anyways.... there's my two good custys. Hopefully I'll get some more of those this week.

Sounds pretty nice, but I'm not into the crouching at the tip rail and talking to custy's. That's the kind of thing that should be done for $$ at a table. I don't know, stage is sort of the time to get everyone's attention I understand if it was really quiet though.
I'm confused, but the Chewbacca Truffle Shuffle cleared it up. - Emily

SUPER quiet..which is why I did it. If there were customers around..defintley I'd be moving around trying to get more people to the rack.

^^^Ever since I started actually enjoying being onstage, i get annoyed when custies demand too much attention. Plus it is like an escape from a custie whose wallet has been cleaned out, but has spent a lot of money. Hehe.

Great post! I can add a couple

First the short n sweet- doing my stage set last Sunday I noticed a couple guys in the crowd- they looked a lil shabby and outta place, and uncomfy because they knew it. So I focused my mental c'mere laser on em and one comes up shyly to tip me, thrusts his dollar out at the rail and asks how I'm doing in broken english. I reply I'm doing good, how's he, what's his name, ect in broken high school spanish. His face just LIT up, and he grinned from ear to ear Made me feel good to make them feel welcome, wish I'd had time to visit them again but the next guy kept me busy...

So far, this was my best experience ever with a patron, and it's gonna be damn hard to beat. He attracted my attention from the stage, just stood out to me somehow (in a diff way than the previous fellows). And I guess it was mutual because he followed me to my side stage, tipped me a 5 and asked when I would be done. In better light he was SUCH a cutie- soft-spoken, very tall and handsome, Hugh Grant-esque complete with longer hair n british accent to match. So after the sidestages and powdering my nose I go and visit himand chat a lil- he was visiting his pal in town and his designated driver that night. Then went off for some dances. Spent a quiet hour dancing, lounging, and chatting a bit, the vibe was just SO nice and he was such a lovely guy, he went for the eyes ya'll, such eyes... I know it's cliche to say, but we had a connection. First time I've ever wished a guy had touched me more, but such a gent, he only held my hand and stroked my hair, and even then both only when I guided him to do so. We wound down snuggled cheek to cheek in a wingback, talking softly about nothing while I played with his hair and stroked his chest. bliss. At length his tipsy buddy came around with the lets-go glare so we had to wrap it up, he paid well and I walked them out- in parting he said I wasn't real, couldn't be- which sounds like a diss in literal recounting, but in context it was the furthest thing from it. Then he was gone... *sigh*

Gents take note, occasionally we're as smitten with you as you are with us, go to bed still thinking about you, and lament the fact that we'll probably never see you again too... *sniffsniff*

So I'm working at this dive bar, which I love BTW and can make realy great stage money at. Saturdayday shift is dead, as usual I'm the only girl thre on time, two others finally show up, long sets, I'm tired.

I'm telling one of the regulars that fuck it, I'm leaving early, let the other girls dance. He says "Why don't you go up one more time?" reluctanty decide to do it, I say ok, only two songs. He tips me a ten, then a twenty on the next song, says do one more and tips me another twenty.WooHoo!
He's one of the sweetest guys in the world and made my day!
