Heh, I lived in Trinidad (Colorado, not the island) very briefly. When I finished grad school and came back to the USA, I took a job teaching at the junior college there. I realized after about a week that it wasn't the job for me and I bailed... I didn't handle that in the best way, but I was young and in a weird psychological place.
Today is nicer so far, but it'll probably still be hot as hell this evening. I think I'll go on to the gym here in a few minutes before it gets so hot. The thing about going to the gym when it's this hot outside isn't really the gym itself, but rather getting there. It's about a 10 or 15 minute walk from my apartment to the gym and I get so lazy when it's hot, I don't want to move.
I'm a cold-weather kind of gal, definitely. When it's really cold I just bundle up and have some coffee, and I feel very energized. When it's hot I just feel lethargic and miserable.

Really, if it wasn't for my ferret, I wouldn't run the AC, either!

I was gonna wear my cute white skirt with the palm tree on it! Now, I have to settle for jeans. NOOOO!!!!
