Default Sweat rings in your Shirts..

Gross I know but I am so curious about this. Ok, I am one of those people who rarely sweats. Even in the summer I don't (yes I know it's because I dont' drink water but that's enother story) Anywho, the other day I wore this really cute thin material plum top from Express. After like 10min of having it on, I got big wet blotches in my top. It's disgusting!!! Why does this happen? Is it because of the material? What can I do to stop it?

more then likely the material is synthetic and is causing you to sweat!

It's probably the material. I can't wear the synthetic shirts. They make me stinky and gross!

There's a product you can buy called Drysol that stop you from sweating. It's like a deodorant but it's much stronger. I use it in the summer when I have to wear something light coloured to stop from getting wet armpits. You can get it at your local drug store at the pharmacist counter. I wouldn't use it everyday because it literally stops you from sweating but once in a while is ok.

sounds synthetic... there is no cure, it's like wearing cling wrap.

I never used to sweat alot either and one spring i started sweating like crazy under my arms.Even when I was cold I sweated.I went to the doc and they said it has to do with stress and hormones.I started using Certain Dri everynight and tried to relax and the sweating stopped. That was about a year or so ago and I never had that problem again. So maybe u r stressed.

It's probably the fabric. I find that I sweat more in synthetics that I do in 100% cotton or wool, etc. I love Express, but they seem to have the cheapest of cheap synthetic fabrics ever! I sweat in all that kind of stuff, especially, the thinner clingy shirts.

I strongly recommend Certain Dri (with an "i" in the word dry). It costs about $5 or $6 at a drug store and you don't need a perscription. I use to sweat like a pitbull in the summer no matter what kind of natural or synthetic material I wear. Certain Dri took care of that with no problem. Just roll it on, let it dry, and you're good to go. Though it smells a little medicated, so I put a single coat of regular deoderant on to mask that.
