    Default Mystic Tan

K, so of you girls who use it, or have used it, I have a huge question.....

Does the stuff stick to your stretch marks?

I've used spray tan from a bottle before, and it wore off of my stretch marks in, oh, about four hours....leaving my skin nice and tan and the marks nice and white!

Now, I've been taking really good care of my skin, exfoliating, using cocoa butter many many times a day, and avoiding the tanning bed for a while to get my skin to nice even color. I want to try the Mystic Tan, I'm sick of baking my body, but that's my big concern, that it wont stick to my stretch marks.

    K....what have you got girls?

I've never had any problems with it. I always come out pretty even looking, and I feel like it actually blends them in a little better.

As long as you exfoliate and moisturize well prior to your mystic then you should be fine. The only problem is it starts to get blotchy after 3 days or so which looks okay under dark lights. However, it is definitely noticeable walking around the grocery store in broad daylight.

Never had a problem either. If anything, it made them look less noticeable.

Okay, so I'm going to try it this week. The 3 day thing is no big deal I guess....if I exfoliate well and go on a regular basis.

    Thanks for the info girls.

A couple other things I've learned about Mystic (just because I learned it the hard way)...

*Shave the night before (not the day of), particularly if you have sensitive skin. I walked out of there with my legs on fire one day because I shaved that morning. Ouch!
    * Moisturize the night before as well. I've found that when I do the same day that my tan isn't as dark and fades more easily.
    * Make sure to dry off really well after you get out of the booth! You could end up with spots if you don't, and it's NOT pretty.
    * Watch where and how you put on the blending cream. I always seem to get too much on my hands between my thumb and pointer finger...I end up with a white spot there almost every time.

Uh...I think that's about it. Don't breathe in the spray...I did that the first couple of times because the initial spray surprised me. It leaves a horrible case of dry mouth and a nasty taste for the rest of the day. Boo!

    Ok...tan away!
