    Default Eyelashes!!

I have a huge problem and I need it fixed ASAP so my beauty life can continue!

    My eyelashes...they...just....refuse to curl. *sob*

The way my face is shaped, using a regular curler is impossible. I can't reach my lashes without pinching myself. I've used everything from dollar store curlers to expensive ones, but none will do the job.

I invested in a heated curler that works like a mascara wand, and that works for a little while. I curl them, then attempt to set it with mascara, but it does not work.

HELP! What do I do? My lashes, skimpy and flat as they are, deny me and I have no idea on how to whip them into shape. (Namely, curled.)

I've never curled mine, but have you tried this mascara?

Curling mascaras don't work for me. I've spent a lot of money on curling mascaras and reading the reviews, Estee Lauder's isn't guarenteed.

i got novalash extensions. www.novalash.com and you can find someone near you that does them. They are a little spendy but they look gorgeous!! I get so many compliments yet they look natural.

I know you say you've used designer lash curlers, but have you tried the Shu Umera one already? FYI, because most eyelash curlers are made in asia, they're contoured for asian eyes. And while they'll work on us 'round eye' types, it's harder for us to get the maximum results from them. The Shu Umera curler is made for round eyes though. It's the only lash curler I've ever used that hasn't pinched.

If doesn't work out though, theres always getting lash perms.

I'm tired of fighting with my lashes. One day I realized that it took less time to just apply a coat of black mascara to my lashes and then glue on fake lashes than to fight and try to make my natural lashes thick and curly.

I just purchase one of these also (It is called the "LashWand", about $15 at Sephora), and it works better than anything else I've tried. Have you tried using it *after* mascara? This is what it said on the package to do, and it works much better. It doesn't grip the lashes, so you aren't risking the breakage you can get with a regular curler, and you can re-curl them again later without damage, unlike the crimper kinds. Doesn't wreck your mascara either.

Wow, how ironic! My partner was playing with my eyelash curler and said 'this could be so much more efficient' and drew up a design for a new type of curler he thinks will work much much much better... I'm thinking of getting a prototype made and seeing how it holds. He said they'd last for 4-10 years, be about $40, curl your lashes for up to THREE WEEKS without recurling and come in 4 sizes depending on how curly you want the lashes....

I wish that was of any help to you considering you need help now... but this was actually a serious discussion we had last night on a great way to make money by inventing a whole new curler (my family is weird.....).... maybe you can test one of the prototypes?

Yeah, if no curlers work, try fake lashes or extensions. I've shot with girls who had extensions, and 95% of the time they look fab, so it's worth the money.

Yes! Yes! Yes! You'll make a fortune! I'd try anything for curl in lashes. Seriously, I've bought every type of eyelash curler and no results. Eventually I would use fakies for work but they damaged my real eyelashes. They still havn't recovered...

Hey, if there's people wanting it, yeah... I'll definitely see if I can find someone to make me a prototype to market. Michael's sister is working on the prototype sketches. Mwahahaha.

I'll keep you in mind Katrine to test the prototype.
