Most people avoid them coz they can be a bitch. I would suggest just getting actual extentions or the hair that you attach with a clip.
Are you trying to disguise urself?
haha i knew someone would say something like that...no i jus sit here and read these posts all the time and i was wondering what the norm was since i want to get into dancing...kind of a random question thoe!
well if you like wigs go for it. Just make sure you have it pinned in perfectly or a disaster may happen on stage, lol.
lol. thanks. i think im jus going to avoid that whole situation!!

Actually I think it depends on how they look, and what style they are. I've NEVER worn an obvious wig. I have men and dancers alike always complimenting on how "perfect" my hair is![]()
Diamond, if you do decide to get a wig go to your local wig store and try them out. For sanitary reasons you'll have to buy a stocking cap first. Try them on, and see which look most "real" on you. You can always wear it into a salon and have them cut it so that it flatters you even more. HTH
Some Douchebag: "[Pimp C] 12:43 am: its true we got to stick together the black people on SW CK you is teh condoleeza of SW"
I agree w/ CK. If you take the time to pick something flattering, it won't be detectable. I've danced in a wig before and it looked natural and didn't have any problems with it shifting or falling off. I've even worn wigs just for a change in my look, and no one knew any better, even women who wore wigs themselves or people who have seen plenty of them on other women.

i wear good wigs when i don't feel like doing my real hair or my roots are showing, etc. i'll probably wear one today. sometimes i think i make more when i wear one, but i've -never- noticed that i make less. most guys don't notice and the ones who do don't seem to care. just make sure you get a decent wig (that FITS) and -always- wear a tight wig cap to keep all your real hair in place.
I always wear wigs. I like to change up my style. I have had a wig fall off on stage before though. It was funny and no one really cared. Believe me, they are NOT looking at your head!
