Smiley Weird Question - Anyone ever complain about Breast Implants?

Seems like a strange question, especially since I do not have breast implants, but has anyone ever gone back to their doc and openly spoke out against a bad job. I know I would say something over a bad haircut, can it be sort of the same? Demanding money back, re-do them, etc?

Thanks for your responses, just really curious!

I know that it happens a lot. I'm not that assertive, so when I wasn't happy, I just went back to my surgeon and told him that I was unhappy, without demanding he fix it, lol, and he just did the usual surgeon-reassurance talk they always do. "You look fantastic! Just give them another few months to settle!" etc.

Mistakes can definitely happen. It is extremely important to do heavy research when choosing a surgeon. Look up his reputation on sites like bestdoctors.com, ask for opinions on sites like implantinfo.com, go to a consultation with him and ask to see before/after pictures, ask for references, speak with former patients.

That said, sometimes even the best surgeons can run into problems. Sometimes implants get rejected or the healing process just doesn't go well through no fault of anyone's. That's a factor you can't really predict, though the surgeon will ask you how your body typically heals, your medical background, and your habits (smoking, etc). You will have a physical (or should) before your surgery to make sure you're in good condition.

Most women who do go back for a re-do are usually concerned about size--they opted to be conservative and in the end, wished they were larger. A lot of surgeons have example implants that you can try on to get an idea of your finished size.

If you're thinking about having it done, start at the top. Get the best names in the country and the best names in your area. The price won't be that much more expensive, if it is at all; I chose the top surgeon in my region and his price was well within the range of other surgeons. Don't be afraid to travel, either--again, the added few hundred dollars will be worth the result.

theres is a difference between a bad boob job, and you just not liking them!!!

if you have ugly shaped boobs to begin with, dont expect the sutgeon to perform miricles. if they turn out weird looking, that might just be your own body doing it.

however, if the scarring is terrible ( and not a genetic thing like keloids) or they bottom out, then chances are the doc will fix them for free knowing it it is more his fault, then your bodies.

do research frist. if you think you might not like them , dont get them.
