Default Why do we sell ourselves short?

Its funny that were in this to make money yet so many girls I work with or around tend to set prices so cheap I wonder how they make a living. I certainly hope theyre not selling their in club dances etc cheap.

First you have a lot of guys who are like those trying to buy cars but never intend to- the tire kickers. You also have a lot of guys who want a companion but arent willing to pay for an escort etc and often cant get any female attention anyway.

You shouldnt do anything for less than 100 an hour or more. If you dance for 2 hours for a bachelor party its absurd to walk away with less than say 250.

You always get the guys who ask why you charge so much but these arent the guys you want to work with. I always explain to them that its like buying a car- you can buy a focus cheap or you can lease a mercedes or a bentley- which do you thinkis better?-- or relate it to where people live- you can live in rent controlled slums or you can live in a country club.

That's a really good analogy you've got there, AmyLynne. That's the same mindset I adopt whenever I go into each of my shifts. There's no reason why us girls should sell ourselves short, regardless of the trade that we're in -- we're much, MUCH worth more than the prices we sell for dances in my honest opinion.

What gets my goat is when customers degrade me with their stupid jazz about dances being too expensive, or even accusations from other girls about giving guys extras on the side (I'm not talking about "extra" extras, but other free services like flashing your bits, longer dances, etc).

FUCK people who think like that and fuck whatever they think. As much as they want to believe we're lowering ourselves to get to a certain goal or place, we're way above that and WE know it so that's why I never let things like that get to me. Sorry if I've gone overboard with my rant, I'm just so sick with everything and everyone assosciated with dancing at the moment, gah! I need a break.

Its all about the money and projecting yourself as a top earner. If you do that youllbecome one. Often the dancers I see complaining about money etc have issues that are restricting them from becoming successful. And theyre too stupidto realize it.
