Ok, I understand that a major part of the feature thing is interacting with fans, and most of the time I love it. Yeah, there are occasional weirdos that know more about me than I do, but most people aren't that bad. For some reason though, a guy last night really bothered me. He forgot that I'm an actual person, and he literally called me his 'little American doll'.
It was kinda slow at the beginning of the night, and a custy wanted to do a couple of Polaroids. I was more than happy to do them, and then I went on with my night. After my second show the same guy wanted to take more Polaroids, but he wanted to do poses like we were at the PROM. Fine, whatever dude, I'll humor you a little bit more. I did my third show, and when I came downstairs the same guy wanted to do more pictures. By this time we were on his 12th Polaroid, but as I went to make my little cheesy grin, this guy picks me up from behind and wants to do a shot holding me up as his 'little American doll'. Dammit, I am a friggin' human. Yeah, I dress up and run around, but I am not a Barbie!
I made him put me down, and told him that I needed to be standing on my own two feet. He got offended that I wouldn't let him hold me up in the air, and after he got that pic he left. I'm all for having fun with guys, and taking all kinds of pics/signing things, but for me he went too far. I wasn't trying to be a bitch to this dude, but seriously, is it asking that much to be treated like a living, breathing person??

I don't want anyone picking me up unless it's my boyfriend or I'm getting a piggy-back ride.
