depends on what you mean by popular if you mean popular with the custy's then yes i know what you mean if you mean popular with the staff at the club no i don't I was never popular at school and I was known as a bit of a dork at my home club in ga. I don't mind being a bit dorky. I think the girls at my new club think I am shy. I am not longer trying to be the popular one I have grown past that i don't give a rats ass what the girls at the clun think of me i just want to make my money. Have fun with being popular but becareful never trust that you have there loyality it could bite you in the ass.

I was friendly with alot of girls at Risque and I had a group of like 5 girls I was very close with. At my last club I was semi friendly with a few girls but I didnt get close to anyone and I definetly felt like an outsider there. I was unhappy with that because at my old club I always had my friends to support and encourage me. Now Ive just moved to a new state and I know Ill have one friend (Britt) but Ill keep to myself probably and be unpopular.

I definately wasn't popular in school! I hung out with the misfit crowd. At work though. I am in demand with the custy's and I get along well with all the girls.

I think I'm pretty popular at my club. The guys like me, but I also get along really well with the other entertainers and the bar staff. I try to be helpful to newbies (without being overbearing) and I give advice when it's asked for. A lot of the younger girls ask me questions and I take that as a compliment.

I LOOVE being popular with the managers/owners because they always send the high rollers my way!!

Being popular with the staff doesn't really concern me unless they can help me make more $$....

Me too Scarlett. I'm very aloof, and I also don't usually say anything unless I have something important to say. Pair those two together and people tend to perceive me as unfriendly unfortunately, until they get to know me.

I don't make friends easily because many times people don't want to take the time to get to know the real me, so I've never been popular.

    Oh well.

I tried my best not to be popular in high school, but people kept trying to pull me into the "inner circle." Even after I made it clear I was hanging out with the geeks, goths, and "losers." You know, the people who were actually interesting.

Nowadays I'm just me. I can get along with pretty much anyone in the club, costumer, dancer, DJ, whatever.

I was pretty popular in school.... but I went to very small schools, so...

I was always the cool girl with the college boyfriend who rarely accepted invitations to parties, but threw the best ones when her parents were out of town. lol.....

at the club I'm not so special, I'm liked, but not popular.... in the middle i guess.

I love my level of popularity at work...I'm on super-good terms with everyone, but not close to anyone. Joking around with managers, staff, and dancers keep me relaxed and in a good mood, but I don't want to get so well known that I feel conspicuous at work. At the end of the day, I just want to get paid and go home.

And yes, I was more or less a dork in school. Fortunately my school had a lot of dorks in it, so I was not alone.

I'm the same way, very shy and quiet. I've had people who finally get to know me tell me they thought I was snobby, just because I don't talk much. I think it's better than being someone who can't shut their mouth and is annoying.

And no I wasn't popular in high school. I tried fitting it with that crowd and then realized they were snobby, obnoxious bitches. They weren't worth my time. I have a few friends who would be considered popular, but they're an exception. I'm not sure what I'd be considered at the club.

In high school I was not popular, not even in the same universe as popular. I kinda did it to myself though, I did everything in the world to not have to be in the school building (work program, early college entry, etc.). I didn't fit in, plain and simple.

When I house danced, I was quiet too. I kept to myself for the most part, and people took it as bitchiness sometimes. It wasn't that I was a bitch, I was just shy and I didn't relate to most of the other dancers. Weird thing was, GUYS still liked me, even though I was kinda shy at first. I could care less if I'm popular with the dancers, all that matters is whether or not I am making money from the customers.

I never quite fit into a specific place in school. Finally, junior year, I had a decent small group of friends. Then I left early to start college, lol!

In clubs that I've worked for a while, I was very well liked by staff and management, and even the reasonably tolerable bar regulars. I'd say it was as popular as I wanted to be. They made work fun and profitable. As far as I know, enough girls liked me too. I always smiled and was courteous to them, but I usually only had one or two dancers friends at most.
