It depends largely on your skin tone and the color of your eyes.

Can we see a pic of you?

    I would choose:

Mardi Gras Teal in the crease, Beach Bum on the lid

Drama Queen - crease, Tea Rose - lid

Theres not enough selection to choose a lot of combinations, but combinations aside, I like the colors mentioned above and also Mardi Gras purple, Seafoam, Blue and Pomegranate.

ok, here's a cheeseball one from the other night with me acting goofy after my class..

my hair is almost black, with platinum streaks in the top...most people think my hair dark blonde with platinum cause it blends well...until i flip upside down that is!

as a rule, i can wear most colors except "yellowish" colors..they wash me out bad

I think with your skin tone you would look great in greens and also in bronze, but not plane brown. Your skin tone looks great in color.... so greens, blues, bronzes, pinks, etc

I need help here too! I worked last Sunday and tried latina's eyeshadow method, and THANKS girl it came out very hot and bold. However, I did notice my color choices seemed to mute my eyecolor, and I'd much rather they POP, so... pics attached, what do you recommend?

FYI I used shimmery gunmetal gray for my primary shadow and a deep shimmery grapey purple for my secondary inner lid blend, black liquid liner and mascara. Again the *method* worked for me, it just seemed like my eyes had gone from blue to gray when I was done. Also FYI I'm not quite as tan now as I am in the pics, but I'm not far off and I will soon be that shade again or darker. I have royal blue eyes from contacts currently, also kelly green occassionally so recs for both please? TIA!

Blue eyes tend to look less blue when surrounded by color. I have very blue eyes as well, and brown eye makeup really makes the blue pop out. I do a beige on the upper part, shimmery wood-brown on the lid, and dark brown in the crease and outer corner. I usually add a dark brown eyeliner as well and black-brown mascara. The blue just leaps out and it still looks smoky and made-up... also more sophisticated, less trashy.

I agree that brown shadow is great for blue eyes!

I'm a polar opposite with almost black eyes. I swear by MAC's electric eel eyeshadow. It's a very bright blue which makes my eyes stand out : ).

The right blues can really make navy blue eyes pop (try navy colors and play with a high coverage light-med blue for lid with gold, gold-brown, yellow or pink accent-this depends on skin tone). Light blue or blueish-green eyes will fade with blue though. I am very fair with navy blue eyes & this works for me. If you have a dark fake tan the accents are dark-pink, mango or yellow, if you have a med tan gold or light yellow, fair no tan works with pale sparkly pink or gold-brown (my least fav-pops grey in eyes), sparkly white works with all skin. Watch the accent colors, I wouldn't post this but being fair skinned the darker colors can really pull the pink or blue undertones from skin making you look like a corpse.

I would post pics, but I'm 8 mos pregnant and a little camera shy right now.

    Hope this Helps!

    ok, well here's my problem.

i have the bluish green eyes...however..i have GIGANTIC pupils! so you can barely see any of my color because of all the black...especially in dark rooms I'm so not exagerrating. i went in once to the eye doc and they were like "we're gonna dialate your pupils" well, they saw me, got me in the chair, and didn't need to! lol they said they had never seen pupils that big ahahaha (on the plus side..i can see like a cat at night! lol)

I love electric eel too! If you pair it with a green, it'll look tealish. With grey it's bright blue. Gorgeous. I've got light haired and grey-blue eyes.

Also, I was hesitant to try yellows too, but I tried oranges (think sunset, not an orange) and it looked great! I attached the tutorial the MAC girl gave me. The lid is Motif (got cut off).

I love those colors! I like warm shades like burnt sienna. I have blue/green eyes that change and I think I like the warmer colors the best on me.

I was just looking around online because I've been wanting to wear more colorful eyeshadow... some of the tips I found said lavender and purple look good with blue eyes. I was skeptical so I just bought a cheap lavender eyeliner and tried that on with just mascara, blush, and lip gloss... and wow! I look "made-up" even with hardly any makeup on, and the lavender eyeliner really does make the blue in my eyes jump out. It's really summery and pretty. I'm going to get a purple palette and play with it this week.
